The video I am sharing in this post is a short two minute video about the Montreal 1967 World's Fair. I was 10 years old when this began and I have very fond memories of it...and when you look at the video I am sure you will see why!

I'm so glad you find all these nice photos and quotes to share with us.
ReplyDeleteGood morning, Linda! Thanks for the video. Yes, I can understand your good feelings about that World's Fair. You were fortunate to have been able to experience that! I've never been to one, but we always went to the Minnesota State Fair!
ReplyDeleteLove the photo and I think the mural is not only attention-getting but quite attractive with nice colors.
Have a wonderful day today and a great weekend!
I that why the baseball team was called the Expos?
ReplyDeleteIt is indeed! :)
DeleteI was at that Expo but I may have told you that. I was sixteen and my younger brother was with me, my mom, and one of her co-workers that was like an aunt to us. We had a great time.
ReplyDeleteThe art work looks like it took a good bit of time and concentration. I love the colors. Yellow and blue are favorites of mine.
Hola Linda. Curiosa decoración la de ese edificio. Me gustaría conocer la opinión de los vecinos que viven frente a él.
ReplyDeleteHi Linda. Curious decoration of the building. I would like to know the opinion of the neighbors who live in front.
that's some very cool artwork on the wall. i wonder how many weeks it took the artist to complete it. i wish i had a talent and skill of painting, but unfortunately i don't. i do love to look at art nevertheless, it's a great way to spur our imagination and creativity :D
ReplyDeleteI love the quote!
ReplyDeleteI understand your memories, Linda... I have a smile on my face...
