What a big house! I'd love to take a tour inside.
ReplyDeleteI like that quote--a lot of wisdom there!
Linda, thank you for visiting my blog and leaving such a nice comment! I love the harp music and the house has so much detail. I can only imagine what it must look like on the inside-must be beautiful!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful house, Linda. Reminds me of one I posted on Ocala a couple of weeks ago. Wonder what something like that would cost in Montreal?
ReplyDeletei especially love the quotation you've given us today. i had never heard it before, but it's so true and thought-provoking :D
ReplyDeleteI listen to your music, Linda, en I walk by the expensive house....
ReplyDeletethat's one nice house
ReplyDeleteHi Linda, beautiful music. The mansion look big and nice.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the wonderful video.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Do you know what, Linda? I'm not sure I like the idea of such houses. I know of many houses like this one, or bigger than this one, in places like Lorraine, Fontainebleau in Blainville, or Blainville-sur-le-lac where each house (mansion?) is a monstrosity costing between two and seven or eight million dollars. Extravagant. And in many cases, for two persons and a dog. I don't get it…
ReplyDeleteAnother point with this house and its rather strange style: the very idea of having a huge garage in FRONT of the house, instead of on the side. I may be wrong, but it doesn't smell of old money!
Just my two cents worth. And that's not much with the cent fast disappearing from our pockets.
But I like the photo Linda. As usual you're doing great work.
That really is some house! Our neighborhood doesn't have anything like that!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to live in that house. Perhaps I should dream more and see how this kind of house would come to me =)
ReplyDeleteI´m so happy that you visited in my paintingblog. It´s so amazing how we can surf around the world and see what happens there. My mothers stepbrother lives in Montreal and I´ve thought several times that I should to visit in your beautiful country. Hope it happens some day =)
Have a lovely weekend =)
En España no es fácil encontrar una construcción de ese tipo en estos tiempos. Buena foto.
ReplyDeleteSaludos.
Nice house.
ReplyDeleteSomeone just back from a holiday in France?
ReplyDeleteAh soothing works for me. Espcially being so far behind on my spring yard cleanup work.....
ReplyDeleteI like the quotation you chose. I makes a good point.
ReplyDeleteGood music and a lovely quote :))
ReplyDeleteSolid construction, has a beautiful architecture.
A kiss.
