Vintage TV Ad...and Happy Mother's Day!

Hello everyone!  I found a vintage TV ad from Howdy Doody...it is just one minute in length.  They don't make TV ads today like this!  Enjoy!

Happy Mother's Day to all mothers out there.  I hope you have a wonder filled day filled with love, peace and joy!

The photo I am sharing today is one that I took on my nature park walk...again, it seems as if the squirrel was posing for me.  :)  You just need to click on the image to see a larger view.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I really appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share by clicking on the 'comments' link at the end of my post.

  2. They have some black squirrels in town, but I never see them out here in the country. I've used many a Luden's cough drop!

What a fun commercial...although I'm glad they aren't usually that long anymore since there are so many of them!! You obviously have a very kind spirit if animals like you enough to pose for you. Very cute shot!

  16. Oh, I remember Howdy Doody! And I loved Luden's Wild Cherry coughdrops. Such a treat to be able to have them in school where candy was forbidden. (I coughed a lot in school!)
