I found this video on YouTube and just had to share it!
It is a short three minute video that I hope you will all enjoy!

Linda, a great video, a real happy cafe atmosphere, and a super pie. Love the steeples. Cheers from Jean

Vos photos sont toujours aussi merveilleuses... Une belle promenade.
ReplyDeleteGros bisous à vous et à tous les papas en ce jour de fête.
This church almost looks a bit like a fortress, do you know what it is? My guess would be Presbyterian. But WAIT, is it even a church at all??
ReplyDeleteI like the video takes us back in time. Linda :))
ReplyDeleteGood pictures of that church.
Have a good Sunday.
A kiss.
'route 66' makes me think of that nat king cole song. my favorite version of the song is by nat's daughter, natalie :D and that's a very interesting building in your photo. looks like a lot of craftsmanship went into making it.
ReplyDeleteGreat to walk (digitally) with you, Linda. Gorgeous pictures. Thanks for visiting my blog.
ReplyDeletemerci de partager ces belles images qui font voyager. bon dimanche Linda

I'm not a fan of videos, but this one is cute I must say. :-)
ReplyDeleteAnd this church is quite something. Pretty good photographs…
I used to watch the series Route 66 in the early 60's Linda. Loved it as I did 77 Sunset Strip which also aired.
ReplyDeleteThat's grand bold architecture on the church. Nice pictures.
I love the diners and cafe's of years gone by too. I miss soda fountains in drug stores and comic books in magazine stands. All those things you would find on Route 66! Great post, I really enjoyed visiting!
ReplyDeleteBack in time, Linda...
ReplyDeleteLie(f)s.
I don't know that I was ever on Route 66 either but I love the theme song from the TV show by that name.
ReplyDeleteWouldn't it be fun to travel Route 66!!
ReplyDeleteAnd I like steeples!!
Thanks for this Linda.
I would have loved to travel Route 66 in it's heyday. Loved the old TV show. I think it was part of the reason my high school girlfriend and I talked about driving cross country when we graduated. Sadly, we never did that.
ReplyDeleteI have a blog friend who traveled it a few months ago. She got some great shots.
It would be wonderful to travel on Route 66 ...Great shots !
ReplyDeleteImpressive church...it is huge. You do not think Americana with out adding route 66 to it. I think it would be fun to travel it just to say i did it. The lady in the video sounds so content and happy with her life .
ReplyDeleteI love the majesty of the old buildings! They are beautiful and solid. Modern is good but there is something comforting about the older architecture.
ReplyDeleteRoute 66 - - I think a couple of bloggers have stopped at some places there. It would be fun to see some of it.
