The First Day of Summer

Hello everyone!  Welcome!  The video I have chosen for this post is a short 3 minute song "Ashley's Melody Men - Sweetest Flower Waltz."  I thought it blends in well with the photos I am sharing today.  The image in the video stays the same throughout, so you can listen to it without watching.

The photos I am sharing today are ones I took on a nature park walk.  I believe the flowers are poppies;  however, please correct me if I am wrong.  You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share by clicking on the 'comments' link at the end of my post.

  9. There's a cheerful rhythm to that tune, Linda. I can just imagine a scene with country folk dancing to it. The open poppies with their
    pretty centres are lovely.
