Really sad to hear of the disaster in Lac-Megantic. Chemical explosions always remind me of my own experience in the Flixborough disaster.
That's a beautiful bird. I LOVE that Lou Holtz quote...I love hearing the songs of birds.
ReplyDeleteThis is a gorgeous Turkey and quite sociable by the sounds of it. I am disappointed as I cannot access your soccer playing turkeys, this could be my ipad, such a lovely quote.
ReplyDeleteTurkeys are such characters! We have observed several near the college here and it never ceases to entertain!

ReplyDeleteTurkeys are really intelligent and sociable, I've tried conversations with them too (does that make us both normal or weird??!LOL) and they appreciate any attempt! Sending good wishes from England :-)
ReplyDeleteYes, great quote, Linda! I think we all have a 'song' to share. And I like your 'song' here Linda. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteOh Linda - your video should have been of you conversing. We would have loved to hear what you sounded like. Gobble. Gobble.
ReplyDeleteOh Linda that's so funny I love Turkey's I find them very amusing.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your week.
What a fun post. The video was great. Those were some very smart turkeys having a great time...and they also were very pretty. I have not seen any like them. I think you may have a new friend to visit once in awhile to talk turkey with :)
ReplyDeleteYou're an animal whisperer! What I want to know is: what did he say to you?
ReplyDeleteIsn't it fun when God's creation interacts with us? That happened to my husband and me when we visited a tropical bird at an aquarium. It talked back in forth to us - - in its bird language. We laughed and had a great time.
ReplyDeleteThe video is funny. I wonder if the turkeys are having fun or think it's something that just needs to be removed from their environment.
