Keeping Cool and Happy in the Heat Wave

Hello everyone!  A very warm welcome to you all!  The video I have chosen for this post is a beautiful journey back in time. Deanna Durbin "I Love to Whistle."  It is a fun, upbeat and cheerful song which I hope you will all enjoy.  I sure do!  It is two minutes in length.  Enjoy!

The photos I am sharing today are ones that I took in a shopping mall last week!!!  Yes, this shopping mall had a beautiful nature display!  There was a large bird cage with beautiful songbirds (canaries and finches), and they were singing away!  There were also flowers and plants, just a gorgeous display!  You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share by clicking on the 'comments' link at the end of my post.

  1. That's interesting, a nature display at a mall. I guess it's good to have some greenery to make the mall more vibrant! :D

  4. What a cheery video. I remember seeing one where she did a duet with Judy Garland. Wish I could remember what movie it was from.

  11. Linda, you created a fine combination with the video and the images of a cool (in every sense of the word) place. Smart customer appeal too, for a mall to display such pleasing plantings.

  12. Gorgeous nature pics! The video is so happy! In high school, our choir had a song with a whistling solo. I was so impressed with the young man's performance on it. Whenever I try to whistle on command, I get tickled and can't whistle or go off-key.
