merci beaucoup Linda, pour la musique, et le partage de ces photos à Montreal, c'est un plaisir de venir visiter.

Very nice song, and a good group, but I was expecting the Pipes. :-}
ReplyDeleteAh, very soothing music--nice!
ReplyDeleteThat sculpture is fascinating! I'd want to get up close like those children. :-)
Bonjour,
i love scottish music, though i must confess, it's difficult for me to tell the difference between scottish and irish traditional music, heh :D nice photos of the buildings. looks like a very sleek and modern city! =)
ReplyDeleteThese big skyscrapers are quite something else! We have none where we live, or anywhere around. But lots of cows we DO have!!
ReplyDeleteCool sculpture!
ReplyDeleteGood ghoise Linda very relaxing
ReplyDeleteBelgium greetings

What amazing Sculpture ..Lovely music Linda .
ReplyDeleteMost Scottish children learn the Skye Boat Song at an early age.
ReplyDeleteIt's a story about Bonnie Prince Charlie and Flora McDonald.
Chorus: Speed, bonnie boat, like a bird on the wing,
Onward! the sailors cry;
Carry the lad that's born to be King
Over the sea to Skye.
Loud the winds howl, loud the waves roar,
Thunderclouds rend the air;
Baffled, our foes stand by the shore,
Follow they will not dare.
Chorus
Though the waves leap, soft shall ye sleep,
Ocean's a royal bed.
Rocked in the deep, Flora will keep
Watch by your weary head.
Chorus
Many's the lad fought on that day,
Well the Claymore could wield,
When the night came, silently lay
Dead in Culloden's field.
Chorus
Burned are their homes, exile and death
Scatter the loyal men;
Yet ere the sword cool in the sheath
Charlie will come again.
nice pictures and video :-)
ReplyDeleteThose really are fascinating sculptures! I don't blame the people for being absorbed in viewing them!
ReplyDeleteAh Linda - I love that Scottish music...calls to my spirit...perhaps because my mom is Scottish. Love seeing the sculpture and the beautiful buildings in Montreal. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteArt-photos, Linda, all three !
ReplyDeleteLie(f)s.
Bonitas fotografías, especialmente la primera de ellas, con los reflejos de la gran ciudad sobre la fachada del BNP, y la segunda con ese singular grupo escultórico. Un Abrazo,
ReplyDeleteWhat a great sculpture.....and beautiful city.
