I love hummingbirds. I think that they're my favorite of all birds. I don't get to see them often though. And I am also eagerly anticipating autumn :)
ReplyDeleteWhat could be more amazing then hummingbirds? They are an amazing joy to witness!
ReplyDeleteThe photos are all beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThe hummingbird video was terrific. There sat that woman, totally oblivious to the beauty above her head.
ReplyDeleteYou and your Polaroid digital are producing some beautiful photographs. I've just upgraded to a DSLR in the last few months, and I do love it. But the point-and-shoot cameras they make these days are such high quality that it's hard to tell the difference between their images and those shot with a DSLR.
This is a beautiful video, we don't have hummingbirds so this was really appreciated..they do not seem to like europe or the south of france anymore, even though a 30 million year old fossil of a hummingbird was discovered here in the Luberon-and I was once taught it isn't always just the apparatus we use but more often than not who is behind the apparatus-voila-and you take wonderful shots.
ReplyDeleteI find hummingbirds fascinating, because we don't have them here either. I hope I get to see one for real someday.
ReplyDeleteI think you take some beautiful pics. I very much enjoy seeing where you go on your walks.
nice video :-) og så flotte bilder . stilig båt forresten :-)
ReplyDeleteI love the blue sky and blue water in the photos! I, too, love my camera. It makes me see things I might have missed otherwise.
ReplyDeletei honestly think your photos are excellent. they always look sharp, and your angles are very pleasing to the eye. and of course, it helps that we love your subject matter: nature! i love scenery with lots of water too, we have that in common. it's good that you take a lot of photos in natural sunlight as well ... for me, one of the problems of photographing in restaurants is that the lighting can be very dim, so the food doesn't look as vivid as it should =) it's amazing how fast time flies. i remember your blog posts when it was still a very cold springtime, and we were wondering when summer would make its presence felt in your town. and now summer's nearly over! :D
ReplyDeleteNot only you are enjoying your walks and camera, Linda, we enjoy your photo's...
ReplyDeleteLie(f)s.
I have a small digital camera too and it's very convenient to take with me on my walks. Glad you enjoy your walks and photographing what you see along the way.
ReplyDeleteEnjoying your walks as usual and this video was marvellous. Oh, if only we had hummingbirds here in the UK.
ReplyDeleteThose leaves turning orange look almost like big carrots hanging from the tree. The blues are so pretty. That boat, wonder what kind it is, maybe a speed boat...
ReplyDeleteAh those hummingbirds are glorious! We don't have them here and I so love seeing them when I travel, thanks for bringing back happy memories!
ReplyDeleteYesterday a hummingbird visited my hanging pot of petunias. It went to many of the pink ones but not any of the white ones. I guess the pink ones are tastier!
ReplyDeleteLove video of the hunningbirds and very nice photo's of yours walks.Love the bright colors
ReplyDeleteHi Linda. Hummingbirds are fascinating creatures. we have two here every year and they 'flit' around all summer long.
ReplyDeleteYour camera Linda takes very good photos.
Nice photos.
ReplyDeleteHummingbirds are so much fun to watch. I have a feeder hanging by the kitchen window. : )
Lovely video Linda, I remember a nature documentary once about Humming Birds where they slowed down the film to count around 80 wing flaps in a second. Amazing !
ReplyDeleteYou have some gorgeous places to walk.
vos photos sont belles et toujours un plaisir de découvrir les rencontres de vos promenades.
ReplyDeletemerci Linda
I just bought a new camera over the weekend after my old one gave up the ghost. I've got to get used to it before I can get out and do some serious shooting though.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing your nature walks. Don't forget the camera! :)
You do great with your photography. I have an inexpensive point and shoot camera that is about eight years old. I find I enjoy the hunt for something to photograph more than perfect photography. I use my zoom a lot and also edit. It is a hobby that grows and grows. :)
ReplyDeleteI used to have that hummingbird feeder
ReplyDeleteLovely video and photos, Linda.
ReplyDeleteGreetings from, RW & SK
Linda, I like this lake, is so blue! The boat is great!
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by my blog!
You sure will have fun learning about photography. The last shot is nice with the contrasting colours.
ReplyDeleteAs others have mentioned, the blue of that lake is absolutely breath-taking! Your camera captured it extremely well. I have an "intermediate" camera - - - probably like yours. When I took a photography class, I realized that the really good cameras take some time to get used to taking the perfect shot automatically. I don't really have the patience or time right now - - or the money - - to invest in one of those. Like you, I am very happy with the digital I have, too.
