The good old days, Linda ?!
ReplyDeleteLovely flowers !
Lie(f)s.
That was back when commercials would last a whole minute. Nowadays, they try to cram a bunch of commercials into a minute to make more money.
ReplyDeleteLilies, Black Eyed Susans, and maybe zinnias? I wish we were all as innocent as back in those days, but of course there were no computers or cell phones either!
ReplyDeleteNothing like a live commercial.
ReplyDeletec'est interessant les vieux documents,
ReplyDeletemerci Linda, et les fleurs sont bien belles.

How different the commercials are now! I enjoyed this look back when commercials were more like stories. Lovely flowers!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous flowers. I'll blame my Dad for not knowing that ad. He waited till long after all my friends had TV before we got our first one. :)
ReplyDeleteFun refreshing post, Linda
ReplyDeleteAloha
I can't say I remember this exact commercial, but I remember when they were like this. I miss morality, don't you?
ReplyDeleteYour photos are just beautiful.
back when commercials were longer.
ReplyDeleteLove the nostalgia of this commercial. Great photos from your walk!
ReplyDeleteooo, i don't have quite the same connection with the 1950s, since i was only born in the 1970s, but it's definitely very fascinating to look at these glimpses into the past. i do believe it's good to understand historical culture, etc, cos that's what shaped us into the people and society that we are today =)
ReplyDeleteI'm like Coca Cola.. best shots.
ReplyDeleteMorris
Classic video, and gorgeous looking flowers!
ReplyDeleteI would love to go on your walks with you. You see such wonderful beauty. You do take such pretty pictures.
ReplyDeleteLovely flowers Linda and the Coca Cola advert was great. They sure don't make them like that any more. I wonder what show that was. My father-in-law still like to watch re-runs of The Lawrence Welk Show. Lawrence was a North Dakota boy just like him :)
ReplyDeleteAds certainly have changed in the years, as my music iss from the OLD (lol) days too.
ReplyDeleteLove the colour of your walk to Linda.
Un conjunto de maravillosas flores entre las que destacaría esas azucenas de la primera foto. Un abrazo,
ReplyDeleteI feel to need to take a pause that refreshes!!! Love the OLD commercials. The new ones - not so much! Some of them are so STUPID! No other word for them. Every once in awhile we come across one that is clever.
ReplyDeleteHi Linda! That Coke commercial was priceless! My how things have changed, and so quickly when you think of it!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers photos you have here too.
That commercial seems to be before my time or before my remembrance but I was born in 1951 - - and I remember us having a TV when I was young. One thing I don't miss about the old televisions is how the picture would sometimes roll. It was difficult to adjust. However, the shows were much, much better "back then". I miss the variety shows like Carol Burnett.
ReplyDeleteAt least in the commercials back then you knew what they were selling ...now you have to figure it out. As always love the flower photo's.
ReplyDeletegosh that was a time ago. Beautiful flowers...
ReplyDeleteVintage ads are so cool. Lovely flower shots.
