Joe the Talking Crow and Seagulls

Hello everyone!  A very warm welcome to you all!  The video I have chosen for this post is a delightful 1 minute clip entitled "Joe the Talking Crow."  I think he is adorable, and I love his "hello".  Enjoy!  :)

The photos I am sharing today are ones that I took on a recent walk in a nature park.  I was really enjoying the views and some seagulls were as well.  You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.

  1. If a crow ever walked up to me and said hello, I would think I had gone mad!

  9. Hi Linda, sadly Joe croaked his last back in January 2010. He was a character with the children for the 25 years he was at the sanctuary.
    Here's the press release.

I love the line "He especially loved talking to children, and flirted outrageously with men, leading to a suspicion that he was really a girl crow called Josephine".

    Wonderful photos today.

  22. I can't get the audio on the crow video, but I think it might be a temporary problem with YouTube. I'll check back later for that. Your photos, though, are very pretty. The first one is my favorite, and it does look as if the seagull is enjoying the view.
