If a crow ever walked up to me and said hello, I would think I had gone mad!
ReplyDeleteHa ha - what a character ! Love his (sounds like a 'her') voice. Nice shots Linda - you can see fall is coming. Good quote.

Hi Linda, sadly Joe croaked his last back in January 2010. He was a character with the children for the 25 years he was at the sanctuary.
ReplyDeleteHere's the press release.
Joe the Talking Crow
I love the line "He especially loved talking to children, and flirted outrageously with men, leading to a suspicion that he was really a girl crow called Josephine".
Wonderful photos today.
Ha ha, a crow with a northern accent! He is adorable. The seagulls seem to be enjoying the mild autumn days, lovely pics.

ReplyDeletei love crows. what a great quote to live by, too.

I can't get the audio on the crow video, but I think it might be a temporary problem with YouTube. I'll check back later for that. Your photos, though, are very pretty. The first one is my favorite, and it does look as if the seagull is enjoying the view.
