Thank you so much for the Birthday Wishes!

Hello everyone!  A very warm welcome to you all!  Thank you all so much for the kind birthday wishes, I really appreciate it!  I was literally inundated with kind birthday wishes both here and on Facebook!  Thank you all!!!  Your kind wishes have made my birthday a very special one and one that I will not forget!

As well, thanks so much to those of you who commented on my last post about the Quebec's Charter of Values.

I agree with your comments of it being unfair and discriminatory, and that it takes away one's freedom.  I am hoping that this will just get thrown out the window and forgotten about...we will just have to wait and see.

The video I have chosen for this post is a couple of minutes in length...50 ducks in a hot tub.  Silly?  Perhaps.  However, one thing is for certain.  They are enjoying themselves!  Enjoy!  :)

The photos I am sharing today are ones that I took in May of this year.  This is a little village for children in a nature park. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.

"Magasin General" is "General Store in French.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share by clicking on the 'comments' link at the end of my post.

  4. I'm so glad the flowers "arrived", and that you are :"OK" with them arriving by blogpost!!! Love the duck video, and clicked to see the clean-up... Also the charter, I do hope it all blows away to nothing. I never fail to be amazed at Blogland, Facebook and all other media that show how so many care, share, send messages, with wishes ,love, support and comfort. We are indeed a very fortunate group. Enjoy your day after as well, greetings from Jean.

  17. Linda - the ducks in the hot tub are way too cute. They look like they are certainly enjoying their visit...almost as much as I enjoyed my visit to your blog today. Those houses for the kids are wonderful...I am short enough I am sure I could visit too. Have a great day.

  21. If I was a duck, I'd love to swim in a hot tub too! But I wouldn't want to sit in that tub after the ducks were done with it....

  24. The children's village is such a cute idea. I'm not so sure about putting ducks in a hot tub, though. I haven't been in many hot tubs, but if this one is as hot as the ones I've been, it could have resulted in some roast duck. Maybe the hose was running cold water into the tub, though.
