Boxer Puppy & Herd of Cows and a Health Update

Hello everyone!  A very warm welcome to you all!  The video I have chosen for this post is a delightful one minute clip of a Boxer puppy being greeted by a herd of cows.  Enjoy!

Firstly, thank you all so much for your prayers and thoughts on my behalf in my last post.  I went to the walk-in clinic today, as the pain was so excruciating I decided it was best not to wait any longer so I went this morning and saw a doctor.  She told me it was indeed gout!  I should have known by the intense pain, but it was the location of it that made me not 100% certain, as this time it wasn't in the big toe like the gout attacks I have had in the past.  It was lower this time.  So the doctor has prescribed meds for 10 days to ease the pain and swelling, and she also asked me to put ice on the painful area periodically, so I am doing this!

The videos I am sharing today are ones that I took on June 19th, 2013.  There is a sleeping duck in two of the photos. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share.

  2. I'm glad you sought treatment...it sounds horribly painful.

I wish our ducks were so tranquil...getting them up to their houses for the night is like trying to hold quicksilver.Get one in and she keeps the others out...

  10. Hi, Linda. We've been traveling again, and I've fallen behind on my blog reading and commenting. I'm glad you were able to get a diagnosis and get on some medication. Hopefully, the pain is better by now.

That video is adorable. It looks as if the cows are trying to figure out whose calf the dog is. :)

I have a friend who suffers from gout intermittently, and I know the excruciating pain he gets. I do hope yours soon settles down.
