Friday Solace

Hello everyone!  A very warm welcome to you all!  The video I have selected for this post is a lovely harp and piano tune, "Little Piece."  The image stays the same throughout the clip so you can do other things while listening.  It is beautiful and soothing.  Enjoy!  :)

It has been pretty cold and windy (and slippery) here in Montreal and to be honest, I haven't felt like going on my walks with my camera. Hopefully this will change in the near future, but for now I have been feeling tired and just trying to enjoy the warmth and duties that I have at home.  I just go through a stage like this every once in a while, and this is just one of those times.  I still take walks but only out of necessity such as grocery shopping.  Since I have taken hundreds of photos over the last few years, I have many that I have not shared here so I hope you will enjoy the ones I share.

The photo I am sharing today is one that I took a couple of years ago.  I cannot resist a fountain whenever I see one. You just need to click on the image to see a larger view.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share.

  4. I love the way you captured the water coming out of it, at first I thought it was a block of ice. You have to walk to the grocery store??

  5. I hope you're managing to rest and enjoy the warmth of home... No need to force yourself out unnecessarily, it sounds like the weather is not conducive for walks right now, but hopefully the situation will improve, yes. Take care! =)

  6. Thank you for the beautiful soothing music today, Linda. We have had a cold wind here, too. It's best to stay warm indoors when it's like that. I'm sure you'll feel more like going out when the weather improves. Every blessing, Linda.

  18. Hi Linda, a lovely photo of the running water. I am away from home and do not have my regular computer. My IPad will not download the video unfortunately so I will have to wait until I get home next week.
