Montreal World's Fair 1967 & the Biosphere

A fun look at the World's Fair. I've never been to one myself. I think my parents went to one once. I like both of your photos. That second one looks so beautiful and inviting.

ReplyDeleteI embarrassed to admit I had never heard about the Biosphere in Montreal. It looks so delicately set into the landscape. Love the red lanterns hanging from the trees. They look like strawberries with a frosted top.

ReplyDeleteyes the World's Fair, I didn't get to go, most of my group went with the Band as I didn't play an instrument I got postcards instead. Winter 2011 was lovely, love the big baubles.

I do remember when the fair was in Montreal. It was a long time ago but I am old now.
