Montreal World's Fair 1967 & the Biosphere

Hello everyone!  A very warm welcome to you all!  The video I have chosen for this post is a short clip of our World's Fair here in Montreal in 1967!  You will see images of the Biosphere in this video (the photos I shared on my yesterday's post...and one that I am sharing today).

Several of you asked questions about the Biosphere, so I am providing a link for you here.  Biosphere  It began at our World's Fair in 1967!

The photos I am sharing today are ones that I took in January 2011...and one is another angle and view of the Biosphere. The other photo was a scene I found in a park that I thought was pretty and decided to capture it with my lens.  You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share!

  4. A fun look at the World's Fair. I've never been to one myself. I think my parents went to one once. I like both of your photos. That second one looks so beautiful and inviting.

  12. Beautiful images!
I embarrassed to admit I had never heard about the Biosphere in Montreal. It looks so delicately set into the landscape. Love the red lanterns hanging from the trees. They look like strawberries with a frosted top.
    Wishing you a wonderful weekend,
    Merisi
