Warmth on a Cold December Day

Hello everyone!  A very warm welcome to you all!  Make yourself a nice cup of hot chocolate or coffee or tea, and relax!  The video I have chosen for this post is one of my favourite songs, "Whatever Happened to Old Fashioned Love" by B.J. Thomas.  The image stays the same throughout the clip so you can listen without having to watch.  Enjoy!

I don't believe that I have shared any of my blizzard photos before so I decided to share a couple of them here.  This blizzard occurred here in Montreal in February 2011.  I took these photos outside of an office building.  You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.

Those are indeed snowflakes in my photos.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share.

  1. Pretty snow photos Linda! No snow here yet, I do love the white stuff for a little while at least :-)

  2. I enjoyed the song and the blizzard photos, Linda! A checker at my grocery store is from Paris, but he spent a year in Montreal ~ a place he loved! I always try to checkout through his line because he is a cute flirt who says the funniest and most outrageous things in his fabulous Francophone accent. He can get the whole checkout area in stitches! I hope you are enjoying your day!

  9. Wow - look at all that snow coming down! I love me a good blizzard. Sadly, we don't get those often in rainy Oregon.

  11. I like BJ Thomas. I didn't remember this song, though. Lovely snow photos. So far, I'm only seeing snow through the pictures of others. We haven't gotten more than a few flurries so far this winter. I'm not really complaining, though. I love it when it's fresh, but it gets depressing when it gets dirty and slushy.

  13. Ah, reminds me of the good storm we just had less than 2 weeks ago - 25cm and with Thursday's 12C it's already all gone !

My favourite BJ Thomas song has to be "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry", but this one's pretty good too.

  17. My mother and father divorced when I was 10. No old fashioned love there, but maybe my kids will see it in my husband and me. :) I enjoyed the blogging song break.

    Stay warm!
