ReplyDeleteI miss keeping them.
A great video Linda! Excellent photos!
ReplyDeleteSuper photos, love those spread out wings, you were there at the very moment. Cheers, Jean.
ReplyDeleteGreat series of images, Linda. You really captured the drama.
ReplyDeleteI like your last photo of the goose in action. We used to have a couple of aggressive geese at our local park that would scare my kids when they were little.

ReplyDeleteimagine a goose guard, fabulous. I was once chased by 10-12 geese once, scared the silliness right out of me.
ReplyDeleteGeese can be scary creatures!!!

I like to keep my distance from geese in general. They can be very aggressive!
ReplyDeleteGeese can be quite aggressive indeed! I remember being bitten by one as a kid...ouch!
ReplyDeleteViolence in the backyard. I had never heard of the name of the gander before but now I know what they are when I see them.
ReplyDeleteI learned my goose lesson about age three, when a goose attacked me. I was pulled away (not the other way around), and i keep plenty of space between myself and them now.
ReplyDeleteTeż już miałam z gęsią do czynienia i wolę je omijać z daleka. Pozdrawiam.
ReplyDeleteI also have to deal with a goose, and I prefer it a wide berth. Yours.
Oops, phew goose, such a good lady...
ReplyDeleteLie(f)s.
If I have found to be very unfriendly, I was stung by one :)
ReplyDeleteGood photos.
A Kiss.
LOVE, LOVE that last photo! Great action shot.
ReplyDeleteI would not want to get on the wrong side of a goose, let me tell you! Interesting post, Linda!
ReplyDeleteNice post Linda.Lovely pictures.
ReplyDeleteGreat post Linda.
ReplyDeleteGeese are amazing birds, we have an annual Wild Goose Chase here in Galloway. It's a joy to be out in the country with no traffic sounds and only the sounds of the skeins passing overhead.
Love the pictures especially number three.
Oh my! That bird does look quite intimidating. I understand they can be very aggressive and will inflict painful bites.
