Just a note to those of you who are following my blog by e-mail...it seems that the e-mail notifications for my blog get sent 12 hours later than my blog posts actually publish. I discovered this by actually clicking on the e-mail link to follow my own blog, just to see how it works. I do not know why this is, and I don't know how to rectify it, so I am sorry about this. Other options I suggest are either follow me via the Network of Blogs, Google+, Blogger itself (you can create a profile but you don't have to have a blog with Blogger if you choose not to), or via another blog following source such as Bloglovin. Thank you all so much for following me and for reading and commenting on my posts, it is very much appreciated!

Why don't you try Wordpress?
ReplyDeleteI think it's quicker.
I was not referring to Blogger's news feed. My fellow Blogger users who are subscribed to me can see my posts immediately as they are published. I am only referring to the "follow by e-mail" link on my page. :) I actually tried Wordpress and I find it (for myself) more difficult. I do like Blogger, it has a nice interface and is user friendly and I enjoy the features that Google gives us. But thanks so much for your suggestion. :)
DeleteThank you for your reply, Linda. :)
DeleteNot sure about that "follow by e-mail" function though, sorry.
I tried Blogger before, but then I jumped ship.
WP is actually easier to use.
You and me are like chalk and cheese. ;)
Beautiful Christmas door decorating , and a funny video of the sneezing sunflower. I wish you a nice week Linda. Greetings from Edward.
ReplyDeleteLike that one about "comparing with others......."

Rats ~ I can't see the Jim Reeves song in this country. I used to hear him on radio CJFX in Antigonish, Nova Scotia when I was 15 and 16. I was really sick a lot during that period and spent a lot of time in bed with my little blue transistor radio. During the day there wasn't good reception, and CJFX was pretty much the only station I could get. Throughout the day the station played different kinds of music, including country and western. I did not like C&W, but because I had no other choice, I listened. Soon I was beginning to like it, then really enjoy it. Jim Reeves was regularly featured. I learned to appreciate a wide variety of music from that station including Celtic fiddle! P. Sassy is spot on, as always. Have a great Monday, Linda!
