Garbage, for a moment I read " Cabbage", down here I use tall gumboots, not much use on ice or snow though. Some people are so clever with their words and sketches.

I like the dog with the bone video...even animals can be so easily deceived..I thought they can smell the difference. I also like the "you are responsible for the energy" quote.

Hi, dear Linda! It was fascinating to watch the various breeds of dogs trying to get that bone away from the hand puppet dog. Their body language spoke volumes. It seems like Friskies has a winning ad campaign with these cute narrated vignettes. The key moment in this one was when the kitty wondered why people throw away all the fun stuff - the boxes, shiny paper and ribbons - reminding us that one man's trash is another man's (or cat's) treasure. I love the purity of Celtic music. Let's vow to keep the spirit of Christmas alive all year 'round.
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday, dear friend Linda, and have a safe and happy weekend!
Thank you for the laughs again Linda. I like those slippers and I think my friend David at Travels With Birds Canada would really appreciate a pair of those in the coming days. That tortoise is sure being positive in finding that hat for wet days.

ReplyDeletei love your first poster on gratitude ... it's definitely a virtue that we should imbue in ourselves, so that it comes naturally to us at all times! :)
ReplyDeleteThese are adorable images. :) I especially like the turtle. We all need this for to end the week. To soothe us from the stress of the week.
ReplyDeleteI got such a kick out of that cat questions video!

ReplyDeleteYou have shared some lovely items with us, thank you!
ReplyDeleteYour slippers with skates taking out the garbage in Canada made me laugh.
My husband is Canadian and we lived on Ontario for years and there were times we could have used those. :-)
The photo and words of climbing to the top and not quitting gives one much to ponder on when the going gets tough. I liked that.
Thank you for your lovely visit to my blog.
Have a blessed day.
Debbie
I loved, loved, loved the doggy gag! I'm going to show that to Terry when he gets home! And meanwhile in Canada! I love the inspiring quotes and images, but I especially enjoy the laughs! My sister Barb's cats will strip everything off her tree, and she will find them sleeping in the boughs. And let's not even talk ribbons on presents. Have a good weekend, my friend!
