I'm not Canadian but I say eh, all the time. I never noticed it until someone else pointed it out.
ReplyDeletePeople who say "eh"...hilarious!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Linda!
(^‿^)✿
ReplyDeleteMERCI pour cette superbe publication !!!! J'aime visiter ton blog.
Je te fais UN GROS BISOU chère Linda ♥
Bon mardi et pensées amicales pour toi !!!
That's cute! I always used to say "eh?" When I was young. A popular expression if you didn't hear someone the first time, not considered very polite. If I said it I would often get "don't say "eh", say Pardon me?" What does the Canadian "Eh?" mean? I have always wondered.
ReplyDeleteGreat post Linda!
ReplyDeleteI especially enjoyed the quotes this evening.. Oh, and the artist!
blessings,
Penny
Tout est super. Merci pour cet échange. Bonne journée Linda
ReplyDeleteLOVE the cat owner working from home!!! My friend has the same thing happen.
ReplyDeleteHere's to writing our own stories for this new year. :-)
ReplyDeleteLove the Just For Laughs videos that you share. The birds moonwalk video is pretty interesting as well. :) Nice quote on positivity too - a good heart is always more important than what's on the outside. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteDian
Linda, so its the birds that started the "moonwalk" dance! So interesting! Thanks for the entertaining videos and beautiful quotes.
ReplyDeleteHe he... So many hungry dogs!
ReplyDeleteLove the quotes, and how funny, cats all over are the same if you try to work at the computer. Hugs,Jean.
ReplyDeleteYes, a new year, a new beginning. The onus is on us to make it great!
ReplyDeleteLinda, Thank You for your sound advice and tips to recover from the Common Cold, Sue's making soup right now and I'm staying positive. I like your Moonwalk - brilliant.
ReplyDeleteOoo... I like that last quote about being a light so that others can recognize their own light... Have a lovely Tuesday Linda xox
ReplyDeleteYou must have a big heart:)
ReplyDelete"the moonwalk " me fait sourire Linda
ReplyDeletegreetings
Dogs eat picnic prank is really to laugh Linda.I wish you a pleasant Tuesday, greetings from Edward.

The quote about the Canadians saying "eh" is so true and funny, may you have a wonderful day.
ReplyDeleteHappy new Year Linda! I wish you all the best!
ReplyDeleteThe ctas are so funny! Great philosophy as always Linda. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThose cats made me smile. Was one of them at one point playing with a banana?
ReplyDeleteBirds have talent:)
ReplyDeleteLove the painting of the kitty sleeping; she looks a lot like mine!
ReplyDeletethe moonwalk is cool :-)
ReplyDeleteHi, Linda! You attract me like a butterfly when you post about animals. I laughed at the gag video of the dogs invading the picnic lunch. The bow-wow bunch included a Yorkshire terrier and reminded me of a pet of that breed I once owned. I take care of three stray cats that live on my property and when I am outdoors they won't leave me alone, constantly rubbing against my legs and begging for affection. That is a brilliant species of bird and its moonwalk rivals that of Michael Jackson.
ReplyDeleteHappy Tuesday, dear Linda!
I would get no work done if I had cats. I would just want to hang out with them all day! Those dancing birds are so cute and snazzy! I bet they have no trouble getting the ladies.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your visit Linda... Have a beautiful day!
ReplyDeleteblessings,
Penny
I like your first quote.
ReplyDeleteThe cat video is entirely appropriate. When my parents had cats around in the house during their last years before moving into a retirement home, the cats would chase each other around upstairs, and you'd come up later to find a scatter rug in complete disarray.
ReplyDeleteCoucou Linda,
ReplyDeleteC'est tellement beau et rigolo le vidéo des chats ♥ (^‿^)

ReplyDeleteHere's to cats everywhere. They have exquisite balancing acts, keeping us on the edge between annoyance and amusement.
ReplyDeleteSoooooo.........do YOU say 'eh?' We don't hear that in Texas but it is common in New England. We say other things though! How about this one??
ReplyDelete(pronounce 'Jew') "Ju eat yet? No - JU? Ju wantto??"
This may lose something in the translation!! Haha!
