  1. I'm not Canadian but I say eh, all the time. I never noticed it until someone else pointed it out.

  4. That's cute! I always used to say "eh?" When I was young. A popular expression if you didn't hear someone the first time, not considered very polite. If I said it I would often get "don't say "eh", say Pardon me?" What does the Canadian "Eh?" mean? I have always wondered.

  28. Hi, Linda! You attract me like a butterfly when you post about animals. I laughed at the gag video of the dogs invading the picnic lunch. The bow-wow bunch included a Yorkshire terrier and reminded me of a pet of that breed I once owned. I take care of three stray cats that live on my property and when I am outdoors they won't leave me alone, constantly rubbing against my legs and begging for affection. That is a brilliant species of bird and its moonwalk rivals that of Michael Jackson.

    Happy Tuesday, dear Linda!

  32. The cat video is entirely appropriate. When my parents had cats around in the house during their last years before moving into a retirement home, the cats would chase each other around upstairs, and you'd come up later to find a scatter rug in complete disarray.

  39. Soooooo.........do YOU say 'eh?' We don't hear that in Texas but it is common in New England. We say other things though! How about this one??
(pronounce 'Jew') "Ju eat yet? No - JU? Ju wantto??"
This may lose something in the translation!! Haha!
