Wonder Filled Wednesday
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have chosen for this post are: A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire
Lyrebird - This Bird can Copy the Sound of Everything - Including Humans
Free Vision Program Brings Life into Focus for Students
Beautiful Nature Video & Relaxing Music - Dream HD
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.
For those of you who are regular visitors and followers of my blog, you will know that I do not share what I am about to share very often. However, I was pretty annoyed when I heard this, which was on Tuesday evening's Montreal news, so...I am sharing the link. I was born and raised here in Montreal and have lived here all my life and I do love it here. However, I have to say that I do not like things like this that happen here. Just click the following link to see the story.
Good quote about pain being a stepping stone, not a campground. I try to avoid suffering whenever possible, but I have learned a little pain is to be expected in life, that pain is relative, and "this too shall pass." The good Lord always sees us through!
What a strange thing to happen! I guess most of their customers were French. LOVE the Lyre bird!! Gosh, it even sings the theme from Seinfeld!! I will have to show Phil tomorrow, he will love this!
This young lady has every reason to be so upset, humiliated, and now out of work, I'm sure the manager and other staff will have issues to face, and compensation would be so totally right. Hope you are not snowed in, from what I saw on our TV, it has not been as severe as expected,
Hi, dear Linda! The people staging those gags on unsuspecting members of the public are lucky they don't get socked in the kisser. Some of the things they do to people would anger a good number of people here in the lower 48. Corrected vision can open up a whole new world of education and achievement for those needy inner city youth and I applaud that program. Few things are more awe inspiring than watching animals move in slow motion, particularly when the footage is set to music.
Thank you, dear friend Linda, and have a wonderful Wednesday!
As always when I visit your amazing blog, I feel so inspired. The "Think Positive Words" really spoke to me today...helped to get things into perspective. Thank you so much, Linda! xoxoxo
Sweet Linda, I'm very sorry that you were troubled by that news story. It is quite an eyebrow raiser for sure and troubled me to read (it) as well. I really appreciate that you share both the good and that bad that catch your attention with us.
Big hugs & many thanks for your immensely sweet comment yesterday, ♥ Jessica
Hi Linda, I could only get the Lyre bird to work this morning but will be back for the other videos. My cable is a bit slow today. That Lyre bird is really something and always enjoy the inspirational quotes. Thanks so much and have a wonderful day :)
The Lyrebird is amazing! As someone who started wearing eyeglasses at a young age, I love hearing about the program in NY. I do remember the first time I put a prescription on and through wow! What a same about that restaurant in Montreal. I would never want to work for a company like that.
Oh Linda - I loved it all but the best was the Kitty and quote about holding on and staying strong. Made me smile friend. Hope you are having a wonderful week. Hugs
Yikes! it's bad to single out an employee in this way. Should have talked to her instead. If problem still continues, only then should give her a written warning but not on the notice board like that. Felt like bullying
Please do not be shy! I appreciate your kind comments, they are sweet treasures and really make my day! Spammers, do not waste your time, I delete your comments and they do not even show on my blog. Comment moderation is enabled. I do hope that Blogger's changes in the way of proving that you are not a robot do not deter you from commenting! Thank you so much! If you have Google+ and are only allowing Google+ users to comment on your blog, I do not have, nor do I want it. And if you use DISQUS for accepting comments on your blog I don't have that, either, nor do I want it. Thanks!
