Nature Lovers Monday
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have selected for this post are: A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. Kindness - The world would be a nicer place if everyone had the ability to love as unconditionally as a dog.
Here are the values that I stand for: honesty, equality, kindness, compassion, treating people the way you want to be treated and helping those in need. To me, those are traditional values.
Hi Linda, Thank you for your post, it is very varied and I always look forward on it. My favorite drawing from Lori Siebert Studio. I wish you a relaxing, sunny week. Sadie
Good morning, dear Linda! I enjoyed the sound of the cello and xylophone combined with a static shot of water and lush greenery. I also enjoy taking nature walks and have learned to pause and examine smaller creatures like insects, toads and lizards. They are all beautiful in their own way. After avoiding contact with cats most of my life I have come to understand and appreciate them in recent years. The piece on small species of birds reminds me of my "miracle pet," a zebra finch, that I raised from an egg. She was so tame that she took rides around the house on my hand several times a day. I miss her!
Great videos and images as always! I love the quote from Princess Sassy Pants & Co. I think what's important is to have courage to take the first step. Happy Monday and have a wonderful week!
a lovely collection of encouragement today, Miss Linda! Thank you so much! Thanks for starting my week out just right! I am beginning to feel a little better. Still difficult to use my fingers, as my hand-eye coordination is very poor, and the fatigue is exhausting! LOL But I can sit up now for brief periods of time, and enjoy doing some things around the house. I have missed your wonderful blog very much. love, de
Naturally I homed in on the ten smallest and cutest birds. I found some familiar birds there so have to agree with Goldcrest, American Goldfinch and Bananaquit. Thanks Linda.
I think the gag people have to be careful sometimes; a snotty interviewer could get punched in the mouth! :) Love the cat smiles. Mine makes me smile all the time!
Good morning Linda. Very cool here in Amherstburg this morning. I enjoyed the video about Panama. On my cruise I went to Costa Rica & Panama and on my excursions I saw many different interesting creatures, aniamals and vegetation. I hope to come back some day. Enjoy the day my friend. See ya.
Dear Linda- super post. Loved seeing all those sweet birds. As for the cat video-certainly had me smiling. Had a wonderful Monday visit. Have a great day friend.
This is really nice post!I love taking pictures of nature and listening to soothing music.I'm glad I found your blog. Thanks for stopping by and leaving comment.
just found you on Awww Monday- thanks for dropping in to one of the nicest memes- thanks to Sandee! You can find me here if you like: http://katheworsley.blogspot.com Cherrio!
This was a wonderful post, Linda! The cello/rain video really resonated with me. I think "The Last Child in the Woods" is an important book, and it highlights something seriously amiss in modern childhood. Another classic was written by Rachel Carson: "A Sense of Wonderful." It is heartbreaking how divorced from nature we are becoming. It does not bode well for the future. I think that a lot of the problems we have in school with distractible, hyperactive kids is that they are not getting enough time outdoors. Loved the new week quote! So many people groan when Monday rolls around; but it's so true, what a wonderful gift a brand new week is. That Princess Sassy image is beautiful and profound. Have a lovely Tuesday, my Montreal friend!
