Sunday Relaxation
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! I saw this great link and wanted to share it with you all. The Science of Stress The videos I have selected for this post are: A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire
Flowers and Insects - Pure Nature Sounds
Wellness - Crystal Waters (Relaxing Spa Sounds)
Headache Relief with Pressure Points
This last video is a 40 minute one, so I recommend, for those interested, to listen to this an hour or so before going to bed. I found it very relaxing and soothing, which is why I decided to include it in this post. Normally I post videos that are no more than 4 minutes in length, but I think this is amazing and definitely worth sharing!
Music for Stress, Anxiety, Relaxation, Depression
Isochronic Tones for Deep Relaxation and Tranquility
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. Rise above it! Negativity, doubt, fear, indifference, criticism, lying, insults, gossip, envy, judgement, insecurity.
When you let go of the desire to control everything, for a moment, you then really acquire control, because in that priceless moment, you experience a changeless peace, not dependent on any external conditions.
When someone says, "I don't want to burst your bubble, but..." it means they are about to try! People can have their negative opinions, but it's up to you if you let them bring you down.
cats are so cute ! enjoy your Sunday Linda ! are you ready to join #flowerpower2015 ? just post a flower on Monday and but it's not mandatory a link to my blog :)
All of your videos are interesting especially the Wellness - Crystal Waters (Relaxing Spa Sounds). The love the beautiful sounds and yes it's relaxing. Oh by the way Linda, it has been raining since yesterday and it hasn't stopped that's why I'm enjoying the Wellness - Crystal Waters (Relaxing Spa Sounds). Thank you. Have a sunny day my friend because I'm not. See ya.
What a lovely post, Linda. Love all the quotes/graphics (especially the Rise Above It and the Four Paws). Videos must wait till later, but I'm sure I'll like them.
You are so right about stress being very bad for us physically as well as mentally. The science is very interesting and totally backs up my theories about it.
I have bookmarked the 40minute video, that is just wonderful to listen to and very soothing.
"The Science of Stress"...fabulous...really opened my eyes. Thank you so much for that. I know from bitter experience how bad stress can be for my body, as well as my mind. Wouldn't it be great if children could be taught to deal more resourcefully with stress at a young age in school? Would prevent so many illnesses later in their lives.
Another truly amazing post, Linda. Thank you so much for being such an inspiration to us all!
Please do not be shy! I appreciate your kind comments, they are sweet treasures and really make my day! Spammers, do not waste your time, I delete your comments and they do not even show on my blog. Comment moderation is enabled. I do hope that Blogger's changes in the way of proving that you are not a robot do not deter you from commenting! Thank you so much! And if you use DISQUS for accepting comments on your blog I don't have that, either, nor do I want it. Thanks!
I like the saying "take whatever was meant to defeat you and let it fuel you." I'm going to remember this one.
ReplyDeleteYour post comes at a most appropriate time. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI'll have to listen to the tranquil music before I go to bed. I also think we can learn a lot from "letting go of the desire to control everything..."

Thanks for the reminder that we need at least 1 day in a week to take respite and forget about what is stressing us.

"...to love as unconditionally as a dog." They are amazing in their ability to love and forgive. We could learn from them.
