Tuesday Choices

Hello everyone!  A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have chosen for this post are:

A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire

Guzelyurt, Turkey:  Beautiful Land

These Cute Dogs are so Happy on their Swing Sets

German Folk Music - Goldried Quintet

For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo.  You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.

Dead people receive more flowers than the living ones because regret is stronger than gratitude. - Anne Frank's Diary

When water evaporates from this lake near Osoyoos, British Columbia, a beautiful lily pad pattern of circles is left behind.  Each circle is a different colour because of the vast amount of minerals found in the lake.

Have a beautiful day.  All the flowers of tomorrow are the seeds of today.

No one has the power to shatter your dreams unless you give it to them.

Home is where the heart can bloom!

Everyone needs to be valued.  Everyone has the potential to give something back. - Princess Diana

Just completely drop everything now, rest, relax, don't change anything, resist nothing, let it all be as it is, just float and let yourself be breathed...

It's my time to shine!  After a nap.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share.

  10. The puppies on swings made me laugh - I wonder what it would be like for cats (utter chaos and outright rebellion, I think)?

  13. Good morning, dear Linda! That squirting skunk gag was hilarious! The skunk is a cute little critter but its dreaded scent has the power to evoke fear in humans. I enjoyed learning about the place in Turkey where dwellings were carved from rock cliffs. Those dogs really do seem to enjoy swinging although they won't get much exercise out of it. :)

Thank you, dear friend Linda, and have a wonderful Tuesday!

  18. If I found a skunk in my locker, I'd probably ... well, you don't want to know! :) Thanks for the link - I've read stories about people getting items caught in escalators before which generally is never a good thing. Actually, I don't like them much and they've probably contributed to our obesity problem in this country!

  26. One of our neighbors has a swing in the backyard. Their Sheltie will get a running start and jump into the swing. When the swing stops swinging, the dog repeats the action. Too cute. I'd love to see that phenomenon at the lake in Osoyoos.

  42. Hi, Linda! The skunk in the locker was such a funny gag! My Dad a skunk for a pet when he was a boy ~ named Sam. Apparently Sam was quite smart. The quote from Anne Frank's diary. Reading her diary when I was a child really had an effect on me. Later on when I went to Amsterdam I visited the house where she was hidden. It was so moving and sad to walk through that hidden space and think of Anne and all the Jews who suffered during the war, and of all the brave resistance people throughout Nazi occupied Europe who managed to save so many. Profound words from Princess Diana, whom I admired a great deal. Have a lovely evening, my friend! Hugs!
