Tuesday Picks and More about Myself
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! In my post yesterday, I expressed my disappointment that the nature park I visited on Saturday had a lot of people. It isn't that I am not a social person, because I love to talk to people! It is just that I also love quiet time by myself. I love people, it is just the noise I don't like. I just wanted to clarify this. :) The videos I have selected for this post are: A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire

How to Freshen Up Your Home

When overcome by stressful thoughts and emotions...saying, "That's okay" to yourself is the "lubricant" that allows those thoughts and emotions to "glide" through you without resistance or judgment.
Everything happens when it needs to happen; everyone is always where they need to be. You will never miss out on what is meant for you, even if it has to come to you in a roundabout way.
I had a smile at the baby birds, down here Boris had the first taste of the big outdoors, and after about 15 minutes, had scaled his first tree. I felt like the anxious mother waiting till the teenagers came home from the dance!! So I wondered what the mother bird was saying to her babies...
The video on homemade shampoo was interesting. The water here is really hard and I'm trying to find a shampoo that works better in hard water. Maybe I will give this a try - although I don't know what castille soap is.
I like quiet time, too. Thank you for visiting my blog. In returning the compliment I got to see those lovely birds leaving their nest, Thanks for sharing it.
Good morning, dear Linda! The prankster in that gag video is lucky she didn't get smacked for trying to steal men away from their women. :) I watched in awe as those baby birds emerged from the house, looked around cautiously, tested their wings and took flight. It was a miracle to behold. I will tell Mrs. Shady about that natural way of making the house smell fresh.
The birds were fascinating. I think everyone of them was asking where is mom with the grub. Love how the second bird eventually gave the first a shove.

I'm exhausted Linda! I just spent a lot of time on your blog! Lol. I now know how to build a bird feeder! Now if only I wasn't afraid to use tools!! I also made notes for my daughter on how to make your own shampoo!! Oh yes....I seen all the birds fly out of their bird house....loved your post today!
The baby birds leaving the bird house is incredible - they are so brave, they don't know that they can fly but they just jump off, wonderful. It was so interesting because we have baby bluetits peeking out of their nesting box hole but after a look round they change their mind. Maybe tomorrow will be the day! Thanks for all the fun and interest here.
Great post, Linda. Like you, I like a bit of quite myself esp in places like that. Nothing is so irritating and annoying as the noises of the crowd. So totally with you there, girl. xox Lenya FashionDreams&Lifestyle
I love that birdhouse out of natural materials. We have tree and barn swallows nesting right now, but babies won't be ready to fly for quite some time. Thanks for stopping by to comment on my raft trip video. - Margy
I really hope that it is true that we will never miss out on what is meant to be. Birth of the birds and flying out is truly a miracle! Have a wonderful evening!

The baby birds look like they get the hang of it pretty quickly.
ReplyDeleteI don't like noise too!
ReplyDeleteI do not judge you at all about the crowds. My whole life is planned around NOT being around too many people. You would never catch me in Vegas.
