I am finding that as I get older, it is more difficult to sleep. In my "younger days," I rarely had a problem sleeping, but I am finding that there are some nights that I don't sleep at all! This can make for a very difficult life in the sense that it really spoils my days, as because I don't sleep sometimes at night, I am very tired during the day, and I cannot stand this. It isn't as if I don't know about the natural remedies for sleep, such as chamomile tea, a warm shower or bath, warm milk, lavender scent, soothing music and nature sounds and spending time with my sweet cat. I do not wish to use any meds such as sleeping pills, as I prefer to be able to sleep on my own using natural remedies. Hopefully this will pass. I am also finding myself to be more moody as well. However, that having been said, and thankfully, it isn't difficult to snap me out of a bad mood...the purr of a cat, the wagging tail of a dog, a kind word, a light and gentle touch, a smile, the sweet innocent face of a child, any of these things are pretty much guaranteed to snap me out of a bad mood.
