Saturday Sunshine
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have selected for this post are: A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire
Royal Canadian Air Farce New Years Eve Special 2013 - Bonjour Montreal (this may not make sense to you if you are unfamilar with Canadian/Quebec politics, so I will explain in just a little detail)...the Quebec Charter of Values was something that was strongly opposed by many here in Quebec. Here is a link about it that may help you. Quebec Charter of Values
I just love it that this show was able to find humour in what many thought was discriminatory and even ridiculous. As I mentioned in yesterday's post, I think that humour is a good thing, it can do a lot more in bringing unity and love than anger and hatred. Enjoy! :)

For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. Next time you're tempted to be upset, frustrated, offended, remind yourself, it's a part of that ten percent of things in life that you can't control - but you can control how you respond. - Joel Osteen
If you find yourself in a difficult situation try looking at it from a different angle. Through immense challenges, ordinary people have extraordinary ideas!
Two American tourists were driving through Nova Scotia, Canada. As they were approaching Shubenacadie, they started arguing about the pronunciation of the town's name. They argued back and forth until they stopped for lunch. As they stood at the counter, one tourist asked the employee, "Before we order, could you please settle an argument for us? Would you please pronounce where we are...ver-r-y slo-w-wly?" The waitress leaned over the counter and said: "Timmmmm Hooorrrtons..." (Tim Horton's) :)
Oh I so love these, Linda...all of them! And Meanwhile in Canada really made me laugh out loud...I once had a similar experience in France! lol Thank you for making my Saturday so much more enjoyable. xoxoxo
LOL, Linda: the gag, the Air Farce, the Shubenacadie joke! Not only can I say it, I can spell it, Bluenoser that I am. Just read that Winston Churchill quote in a novel I just finished. Happy Saturday, Linda!

Hahaha, I've heard variations of the "can you tell us where we are very slowly?" joke but the Tim Horton's twist was very good!
