Soothing Sunday
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have chosen for this post are: A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire
How to Pack a Suitcase Efficiently
Dog vs Swan in Strasbourg
Stressbusters with Loretta Laroche
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. Daily rules to live by: Wake up; be thankful; try new things; help others; trust yourself; worry less; keep going; love unconditionally; dream big.
Stressed: Read this now! Pause. Inhale. Exhale. Remember who you are at your core. Remember times you've overcome past challenges. Know you're never given anything you cannot handle. Focus 20 percent on the problem and 80 percent on the solution. Think in terms of "small steps" which you can take to move forward.
Not every day will be wonderful. Not every day will you feel good. Not every day will be filled with ease and joy. But remember, it is only one day. Feel it. Live it. Learn from it. Do not get stuck in that one day. Let go and move on. The next day, start again. You can do it. You are stronger than you think!
Hello Linda!:) Your last clip made me smile, a funny lady, and the picture of the goose also was fun. The suit case tips are great, not that I go anywhere where I need to pack one, but I can now pass these tips on. Hope you are well, and have a great day Linda.:)
Ha ha..I would have fallen off the bench in the 1st video clip! I wouldn't be able to pack like the 2nd video and oh my goodness! the swan was really fierce and brave!
Daily rules and gratitude, they spoke to me so much. Hope you are Ok in the North, with winter fast approaching, have you had any really cold nights yet?
I've travelled for years and learned a new trick or two off the travel hacks video. Linda-I'm hitting the road and comments will be "spotty" for a bit. Hope you have a wonderful day
Great videos and quotes again today. Pretty artwork too. The swan was formidable. I read once one swipe of a wing can break your arm. Not to be messed with but my goodness, they are such noble looking birds.
Great packing tips, although I'll never learn to fold a shirt like that. We have enough Canada geese here that I totally relate to the "I'm not moving" picture.
Love the gag! That pink thing would be a surprise for sure. I know how to pack a suitcase, though. Throw it on the bed and throw stuff in it, zip it up and take off. Swans can be really nasty birds...I'd keep my distance. So can geese, come to think of it. I've been chased and bitten by geese! :)
Linda, That little duck is sweet just sitting there in the road, and I love the quote attached to it, "well, honk to you too." I appreciated the "gratitude" quote also. I read one time that grateful people are the happiest people, and I think this is true. Thank you for being such a grateful person.
Merci Linda pour ta visite sur mon blog! :) Très joli blog aussi et j'ai bien aimé ce post...particulièrement la façon de plier une chemise! ;) Bonne semaine Agnès
After living overseas for nearly 20 years, the way I pack my suitcase has changed dramatically. I remember the days when I used to traipse across the globe with 2 cases of 32 kg each! Now it's a carry-on, and sometimes a 15kg check in. Oh how times have changed. :-)
I love the how to pack suitcase efficiently video. Great tips! I will do spill safe thing and clips next time. And I loved Meanwhile in Canada image as always :-)
Your posts always lift me up, Linda! From hearty laughs to wise words. I am grateful for every new day that I have. I never forget that they are precious and numbered. Have a lovely week, my friend!
