Friday Fulfillment and about the Just for Laughs Gags

Hello everyone!  A very warm welcome to you all!
I think I figured out what is happening with the gags!
Firstly, I did not receive a response to my e-mail, but this is okay, because I think I figured out the issues. If the Just for Laughs Gags that I post are uploaded here in Montreal, and by the Just for Laughs crew themselves, they do work here for all on my blog. However, if they are uploaded by another YouTube user who chooses, in their settings, to only have their uploaded videos available in certain areas, then this is why some of us are unable to see them here.  So I will continue to share the Just for Laughs Gags, but only the ones that are actually uploaded by the Just for Laughs crew...however, please note that if they have been uploaded in other parts of the world, depending on whom is uploading it and where it is uploaded, I cannot guarantee that all can see them. I hope this clears things up for you all.  But as I mentioned in a previous post, I will always post things that make you laugh, so even if it is not a Just for Laughs Gag, it will be something else...either a video or in the form of an image.  Thank you so much for your patience and understanding, and for your love and support.  :)

The videos I have chosen for this post are:

A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire

How to Wrap a Gift Box

What Would Happen if you Didn't Sleep?

Hero Cat Rescues Baby Dumped in Street by Climbing in Box to Keep it Warm in Freezing Conditions

Dancing in the Moonlight by King Harvest

For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo.  You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.

Sometimes, all that's needed is a little change in perspective.

Tangled Twinkle

If you bring drama to my door, don't be surprised when I close it.

Find time...the time to read, to smell the flowers, to make art, to have coffee with a friend, to write a letter, to bake a surprise cake, to go somewhere special, to really be with the person you love, or even to do nothing for a while.

The capacity for hope is the most significant fact of life.  It provides human beings with a sense of destination and the energy to get started. - Norman Cousins

To be enlightened doesn't mean that you won't have any negative thoughts anymore, it means that even while entangled in these thoughts, you allow them to be without believing in them and they will dissolve.

Sometimes I prefer not to talk about things until I figure out what I'm truly feeling and thinking.

Stop trying to micromanage how you feel life should be unfolding.  Breathe and macroappreciate the big picture.

Sometimes the best thing you can do is not think, not obsess.  Just breathe and have faith that all will work out for the best.

Quick!  Think of a memory that makes you smile. That felt kind of good, right?  Next time you feel stressed or sad, do a "mental rental" and think about happy memories.

One of the hardest lessons to learn:  how to let go. We cling so tightly to our anger, guilt, shame and pain.  Breathe and release.

While you were waking up today, someone else was taking their last breath.  Be thankful for this day. Don't waste it.

Someone should open an ice cream shop with flavors like "Don't be sad" and "You deserve better".  :)

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share!

  1. Good morning, dear Linda!

It seemed unsanitary for that girl in the gag video to be grabbing people's shoes and trying them on her own foot. Chronic sleep deprivation has become a fact of life for Mrs. Shady and me. We are both so busy that the 7 to 8 hours that experts recommend seems ludicrous. God bless the hero cat for keeping the abandoned baby warm in the dumpster and crying out for help. The early 70s seems to be your favorite period for popular music, dear friend. In the winter of 1973, "Dancing in the Moonlight" spent 11 weeks on the Billboard chart and peaked at #13. I remember it well.

Thank you very much, dear friend Linda!

  4. Hello Linda, that is a very good video about the cat saving the baby. It is so touching for a cat to have the mother's instinct and love to protect and kept a human baby warm and calling out for help in her own way. Have a beautiful Friday!

  15. Hi, Linda!
I'm Irina and a novice in your blog. Nice to meet you!
Insomnia piece is quite educative and a bit scary. I guess, few working people nowadays can boast of enjoying a norm of sleep. I also chose my favourite flowers - it's fun! Do you summarize the results somehow?
If you recognize books, and I hope you do as we are close in age, come to my blog Book Lovers. I write in Russian (there's translation option) and in English. Have a great week end!
    With best wishes from Russia,
    Irina

  21. I had the same thought as Mr. Shady about the cleanliness of trying other people's shoes on one's own bare feet. Still, it was funny. The video about the cat and the baby was very interesting. We do underestimate the animals in our lives sometimes.

You are totally correct on this one. I thank God each morning to see the sun come up and each night I also thank God for a full day. I know that at the same time that someone will no longer see the next day. I think that our world forgets this but not me.

Have a beautiful, exciting day Linda. See ya

  32. Some of those gag people must have a lot of chutzpah...I could imagine taking a pair of shoes and walking away! So funny! That is one heroic cat. Hope she gets fresh tuna the rest of her life! I'm going to go dump my bad memories now! Have a great day!
