Weekend Wonders
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have chosen for this post are: Candid Camera Classic: Car Speaks Japanese
Dr. Jeff Treats a Curious Wolfpack
Does Your Dog Bite? - Peter Sellers
Baby Vervet Monkey Rescued from African Brush Fire
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. Don't confuse a difficult chapter with your whole life's story...it's time to turn the page.
You are an unfinished work in progress. One of the good things about life's challenges: you get to find out that you are capable of far more than you thought possible.
Peter Sellers, another favourite of mine. His duet with Sophia Loren, "Goodness Gracious Me" is absolutely hilarious...and I have his comedy album too!
That Peter Sellers clip is one of the funniest moments on film. I laugh so hard every time I see it. I tried to leave a comment earlier so this might be a duplicate.
Hi, Linda! Such special words for me today, thank so much! I especially liked the reminder to let family go who don't care to treat me with love and respect - I feel so sorry for the ones in my family who cannot let go of the past to allow each other member to grow freely! xo
Thank you for all the inspirational phrases, Linda. They have always given me sustenance throughout my life. I loved the one about being time to "turn the page" and also the one about "letting go." Ahhh.... Blessings, Maureen
Really enjoyed the wolf pack one as I was wondering how he would examine them without knocking them out. There's a guy in the UK that became part of an enclosure held wolf pack to study them from inside and slept among them 24/7 for months at a time without coming out. They did adopt him into their pack, as has happened with young abandoned children in the past left in the forest, but he took a few bites and scars in the process before he became one of the 'family'
I like your inspirational posters and the wildlife videos, Linda. I just saw one of those relatives who love to try to put guilt trips on others so have to block out the resulting mental chatter. Too bad they can't learn to love and accept others. At least I rarely see her.
Good morning Linda. I was good to hear your story about the Greylag. Yes of course geese are very intelligent creatures in recognising humans good and bad. Thats why they are kept as "guard dogs" in some gardens where they alert houseowners to intruders. have a lovely week ahead.
Thank you so much, for enjoying my photo of the little red bug. :-) And for your appreciation of my Header picture of fall flowers, in the front garden.
Hello Linda!:) Loved all the video clips, especially the little monkey being saved, and taken to a place where it will be safe, and I laughed at the "This is not my dog", which is a great line!:)) Thank you for the quotes too, always inspirational, and wise.:)
Hello Linda! I love watching Candid camera. It's just so funny! I've always been fascinated with wolves. I want to see one in person and the wolf is also my totem symbol. Plus, I also had a wolf tattooed in my left thigh :)
As citações são muito bonitas. Eu gostei muito do vídeo em que o Dr. Jeff está com os lobos, acho que precisa coragem para sentar no território deles. Tenha uma ótima semana!
Some excellent food for thought and universal truths. I don't recall the Peter Sellers clip though I'm pretty sure I've seen all of the Pink Panther films. Now I want to see that one again.
What a solace for my soul, dearie, thank you for the joy you always share ... you put a sweet smile on my face, I'm so grateful to you for this, precious friend of mine !
Hope your week is off to a good start I'm sending my dearest and warmest hugs across the many miles

ReplyDeleteI cannot agree more. It is so easy to focus on things that aren't going well that we forget that it will pass soon enough. :)
