Mid-Week Sunshine
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have selected for this post are: Bear Sits Next to Guy
Reitmans Movie (Reitmans is a Canadian womens' clothing retailer that air humorous TV ads...this is one of them)
The Moment this Baby Koala Sees her Mom for the Very First Time
Kapitany Anni - Hungarian Jazz Singer
Visit Le St-Sulpice Hotel (Montreal) in 1 Minute
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. My ex called me wicked...I was so shocked I nearly fell off my broom! :)
Some wonderful videos today, Linda. I can't imagine getting that close to a bear - any bear! And those store commercials are a riot. Love that Hungarian jazz singer, too, though I couldn't understand the words. Some wonderful posters also...I, too, like the one about how being old seems pretty normal. Not that I like it, but...
Dear Linda, this is just a quick visit to let you know you are a winner in my "moment in time" giveaway. Can you please let me have your address. There is an email me button on the right hand side of the blog - hope you find it OK but any problems please let me know. Congratulations, Barbara xx http://marchhousebookscom.blogspot.co.uk/
Hi Linda, the bear would have been a bit too close for me but after the event, what an amazing experience. A funny clothing video and the koala baby was beyond adorable. I also enjoyed the Hungarian jazz singer and the visit around the Le St-Sulpice Hotel. Always love the wise words and illustrations. Thank you so much and have a great day :)
I've seen that bear video before. What a sight! Looking at him, he looks very well fed, so this must have been late in the season before hibernation- the best possible time to encounter a bear. They're not hungry, in a good mood. The poor guy must have been startled to have that big fellow walk right up though.
It's kind of funny how being old doesn't seem so old now that I'm old. LOL I could not agree more but wish the body felt as young as the mind feels :-) Great post as always Diane
Hi Linda!! Thank you so much for your kind words on Dakota's blog. You have a lovely blog too and we just signed up to follow you! I am a "Highly Sensitive Person" also :) Love the quotes on your blog today. I am going to be 61 tomorrow so I can totally relate!! (((hugs))) DakotasDen
Linda, I wonder if the guy that the bear sat down next to was able to stay 'dry'. I would have probably had a heart attack or something myself. Beautiful grizzly though! Love that baby Koala... I agree with the never too old to set a goal or have a new dream. At my age my goal is to wake up each morning and I dream and set goals for travel...plus winning the lottery! Take Care, Big Daddy Dave
The bear-video gave me the creeps a bit, but, awwww, the Koalas! In Perth, Western Australia, I once touched a Koala. The softest, yet oilyest fur I ever touched, it was awesome, I´ll never forget that experience...
Thank you Linda! I love the bear and the koala's! I love the quotes too! I got your e-mail and will let you know, when I send out the package! Big Hugs!

ReplyDeleteLearning to start over... We all have to do it frequently, eh? The key is to never be too old (mentally) to face the challenge.
ReplyDeleteWow - I can't believe that guy just sat there filming as the bear sat next to him!
ReplyDeleteLove, love is all we need!
