Today's forecast:  100% chance of pajamas, cookies and naps.  :)

Take a break from holding anything for a moment...and share kindness with the world (including yourself)

Friendship isn't about people who act true to your face.  It's about people who remain true behind your back.

I named my dog 5 miles so I can tell people I walk 5 miles every day.  :)

Happiness is what's left after we deduct our worries. - Doc Childre

When you wake up in the morning let your first thought be one of thanksgiving, that you have another day to walk in the love of God.

Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations.

Today, be festive...be joyful and spread some cheer! And most of all enjoy this beautiful season!

Health does not always come from medicine.  Most of the time it comes from peace of mind, peace in the heart, peace of soul.  It comes from laughter and love.

We must learn who is gold and who is simply gold plated.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share!

  28. I love the naughty yellow kitty who is a tree climber, but I worry about kitties at Christmas time, because a lot of them love to eat that paper type of curling ribbon. It can get twisted in their intestines and cause all kinds of trouble. Best to put the ribbons on when the kitties are sleeping and then keep the presents locked away if they have that kind of ribbon. A better idea is to use different ribbon and keep the curling kind out of the house entirely.

  33. Linda, The sleepy kittens are a lot like toddlers. They fight the need to sleep. Our old cat will be laying in my wife's lap and his head will suddenly drop like a stone as sleep wins out!

No turkey for us at Christmas...went for lamb instead! However, I did like the recipe for bubble and squeak with Brussel sprouts and potatoes pan fried in butter. Yum!

Those cats had a field day with the Christmas decorations and wrapping. We did have one cat climb the tree and tip it over. Our current old boy is only a hazard with bags and ribbon so we don't put presents out unless we're in the room!

Love the idea of naming a dog "5 miles"! It would be great if I could tell my doctor that I walk 5 miles every day...but it wouldn't take him long to catch on.

    Take Care, Big Daddy Dave

  39. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas Linda! The sleepy little kittens are such a sweet reminder of peaceful Christmas. They are darling.

The catmas made me laugh, hilarious and true! Our little Elbee loves to thwart any gift wrap plans or sewing on my machine, I just put my project up until he moves on, it's easier that way. ; ) Those kitties are something else. Wow.

The quotes are very good reminders as well! Very helpful!

Hope you are doing well in this post Christmas but Epiphany kind of time. : ) Blessings to you!
