Mid-Week Relaxation

Hello everyone!  A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have selected for this post are:

When Your Pet Kangaroo is Your Best Friend

Sweet Blind Dog Familiarizes Himself with New Surroundings

Kitchen Gadgets (1950)

Dance of the Clouds (relaxing, soothing music)

For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo.  You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.

The best revenge is to improve yourself.

Look at everything as if you were seeing it for the first or last time.

Gratitude can be the light that warms a home during troubled times.

Just know that whatever you are feeling inside yourself, this very moment, is completely okay.

Never misuse the one who likes you.  Never say busy to the one who needs you.  Never cheat the one who really trusts you.  Never forget the one who always remembers you.

I am in competition with no one.  I have no desire to play the game of being better than anyone.  I am simply trying to be better than the person I was yesterday.

Do good and good will come to you.

I've realized through the years that I just find happiness in other things, whether it's my dogs or my friends or, like, looking at the sunset.  So if I were to wish for something else, it would just to be happy all the time, to have a superpower of not letting things affect me, and to be true to who I am, always. - Kylie Jenner

If you want to touch the past, touch a rock.  If you want to touch the present, touch a flower.  If you want to touch the future, touch a life.

Anger is heavy.  Let it go.

Think how much more you could accomplish if you channeled all that energy you spend on worry into habits which move you forward.

Sometimes I wish I had the wisdom of a 90 year old, the body of a 20 year old, and the energy of a 3 year old.  :)

Friends come and go like waves of the ocean, but the true ones stick, like an octopus on your face.  :)

Always love your friends from your heart, not from your mood or need.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share!

And yes, do good and good will come to you. As they say, what goes around come around.

  12. Well you made my day with that kangaroo video. How sweet it is! I wonder, though, how that would work when the roo grows up? And you make me wax nostalgic again with those kitchen gadgets from the 50s...I remember most of them being in our home..

  27. Hello Linda! Oh my, the blind pittie, Stevie, just so touches my heart major. We have a little blind dog as you know and we also lost our sweet pittie, Buddy, this last year, and he looks so much like him and is affectionate like him too. I enjoy the program Pitbulls and Parolees, it's such a sweet show.

The pet Kangaroo, now that is a hoot! Great videos as always Linda. The music is very pretty, as well as the photography. Great picks on all videos and quotes!

I hope you are having a nice middle of the week! Blessings!

  32. Linda, A pet kangaroo is a bit much but on the other hand, people keep pet snakes, lions, tigers, alligators, etc. so I guess that a kangaroo is pretty tame by comparison. Sad but hopeful story about the blind pit bull... As for those 1950 kitchen basics, (the year before my child bride was born), we don't even consider them as conveniences any more...just basic kitchen tools. Take Care, Big Daddy Dave
