Weekend Walk and Higgins and Burke Teas

Hello everyone!  A very warm welcome to you all!
I am not sure if any of you have ever tried Higgins and Burke Naturals Facebook page teas, but I have to say that I am totally hooked on them!  The packaging is quite attractive, for one thing, but the teas are absolutely amazing!  Most of you know how much I love tea, and today I am talking about the Lush Berry flavour, which is caffeine free.  As soon as I opened the box, I could smell the luscious aroma of berries!  Each tea bag is individually wrapped, and you can see and smell the lovely fragrance!  Absolutely delicious!  I highly recommend these teas, if you haven't tried them yet.  :)  Higgins and Burke website

The videos I have selected for this post are:

Homeless Man Given New Life by Facebook Family

Supermarket Interior (1960-1969)

The Cat and the Fawn

Clouds and Soothing Synth

Make it a habit to be grateful for the smallest details of life.  These small details are so numerous that you can spend as much time as you want in a state of gratitude.  This gratitude opens to even more of abundance. - Ralph S. Marston

Too busy is a myth.  People make time for the things that are really important to them.

The biggest communication problem is we do not listen to understand.  We listen to reply.

In the waves of change we find our true direction.

Be a voice, not an echo.

Have less.  Be more.  Do more.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share!

  1. Ha! Love the "fruit flies." The video of the cat and the fawn is amazing. How could that little fawn stay so still with a human filming it and a cat pawing it?

  4. I have never heard of these tea bags, but they must be really great :)
I love the saying about being busy. I can't stand it if people keep saying they are too busy for this and that. It is about making time for this and that.
And indeed most people listen to reply.
    Have a good weekend

  14. The cat and fawn are adorable. I know young deer don't have a smell, so from time to time their mothers leave them in long grass.

    Saludos.

  20. Hi Linda, thanks for posting all the wonderful videos and quotes. I remember supermarkets looking like that when I was a kid. Glad to see at the end of the cat and fawn video that the mother rejoined it at sunset.

  29. Hi there Linda, lovely to catch up with you once more. Oh yes, I know just what you mean about that lovely fruity aroma from teas such as you describe. My favourite at the moment is lemon and ginger, I have two bags at the one time and call it my "double shot" lol!
I really enjoyed The homeless man, the cat and the fawn and the soothing synth videos (I must check out a longer version of the last one... appreciate you showing us that one especially).
I had a chuckle at some of the funny quotations as well as the uplifting ones.
Thank you so much Linda, your spot is always so lovely :D)

  30. Hi Linda,

The video of the cat and the fawn was so sweet! I had to show my daughter, who adores cats. Of all the quotes, I like, 'The biggest communication problem is we do not listen to understand. We listen to reply.'. Finding this to be so true, sometimes, which is a real shame. Listening, is a skill, and when learned and practiced, can lead to great progress in communication.

    Happy weekend, my friend!

  34. Linda, My wife is the tea drinker in this house and I'll tell her about Higgins & Burke Teas. Nice story about the homeless man! The biggest changes in the supermarket today are checkout and the 'convenience foods' in the rows of coolers and freezers! As for that fawn, his momma told him to stay there not to move...and he was very obedient! Take Care, Big Daddy Dave

  35. LOL at Pi in the sky. I worked at a grocery store in high school in the mid-70s, but seems somewhat familiar and those open freezers had to cost a fortune to run!

  36. Hello Linda! Great video on the precious homeless man. That is so great that there were those who cared enough to help. There are so many stories in people, so many gifts.

The tea sounds nice! I'll have to check into that, we like both coffee and tea at our house. My youngest daughter especially loves tea!

Great quotes, I like the one on being a good listener.

    Have a great weekend! Blessings!

  37. Some fabulous sayings here today, very hard to choose which of them is the best but I think I have to go with "My dear friend, clear your mind of can't".. It is a word I refuse to have in my dictionary!!
As for the teas wish we had them here. We both only drink herbal tea, neither of us likes ordinary tea. Yours sound delish. Have a fab Sunday, Diane

  47. Linda, as usual, you have done a splendid job of curating these entries. The videos were all very entertaining, and the posters contain great words of wisdom. The instinct of the fawn to remain immobile certainly protects its life.

  48. Hi Linda! I also listened to the Clouds video, and it gave me such a lovely
'ahh' moment on my Sunday afternoon. Thank you! The image/quote about the sun and the moon really resonated with me too. We all shine in our ways, and in our own time. A great reminder of that!
