  20. I find it so interesting that "dumb" animals are so much smarter than we think they are and that they love and hate and need affection and consideration just like we do. And they will respond and bond with human animals (who might just be the dumbest of all)! Love the Salmansohn posters - but you knew that! Have a great week!

  21. I didn't know that chickens and ducks could form such attachments to humans. Those two videos were enlightening. I enjoyed both of the Peadoodles, too.

  27. Linda, Love the duck and chicken that love their children! Animals are amazing... My high school was a college prep all boys boarding & day student facility in Niagara Falls, NY. We wore a coat and tie to class and much of the rest of the time as well. For meals we were assigned to a table with one of the teachers to keep us under control. When I was in the 3rd grade, our teacher, Mrs. Adams, used to whack me with a ping pong paddle when I was late to school. Another kid and I had the habit of stopping at a donut shop/bakery on the way to school and we'd lose track of the time. My 3 favorite sayings are 1) You can't fix stupid; 2) If you can't change it, don't worry about it, and: 3) Life is short...enjoy every day! Take Care, Big Daddy Dave

  28. Dear Linda - first the crow bar made me smile...then the video of the Duck watching for his friend was adorable. My how school has changed. Sometimes it is nice to visit the past and remember chalk dust and old wooden desks and catch the smell of well loved books. Fortunately when I was in school we got to have boys and girls in the same room. Not sure when we were allowed to wear jeans to school but I think when I became a junior in high school the dress code changed. Anyway had fun visiting you dear friend. Hope you have a delightful week. Hugs!

  44. Dear Linda - It’s nice to be welcomed back by a duck. “Don't give up just because you don't see immediate results. Know that each positive choice you make is affecting you in hidden ways - and will add up to big change over time.” First the unique image caught me and then I was convinced by the words.

  49. The school one took me back. We used to have to sit with our hands clasped behind our heads for ages if anyone asked a question without putting a hand up first and getting a wooden blackboard duster flung at you or a slap round the ear was pretty common. One unlucky pupil got six of the belt every day for a week for not doing his homework in my class. Happy days...
