I really enjoyed the Bird of Paradise video. Nature is so amazing. I like the reminder to stop looking for happiness in the same place you lost it, too.
Wow! I've never seen a "bird of paradise" like that - it scarcely looks real with those interesting plumes off its back! Loved their mating dance, Linda - so sweet and interesting. Wonderful quotes and sentiments today (as always), but I especially enjoyed the encouragement to be one's self - thank you, Linda. You have helped me overcome many a fear and insecurity with your blog - I'm sure I'm not alone, either. Thank you for being such a big part of my life! You ARE a rare gift to me. Wishing you a great week-end, my friend! hugs, de
Hi Linda, I love this post and that kangaroo and the bird of paradise is my favorite. Have you ever thought of putting a Paypal button on your blog? I have come across people who do this. People get such enjoyment out of your blog I am sure it would be used often.
Denise, thank you so much for your comment, dear friend, and for your idea about a Paypal button. I will look into it and see if I can put one on my blog. Thanks a lot! I really appreciate it.
I tried to fit in with the crowd...it was the worst ten minutes of my life! This is so much me. I love my own company and I hate crowds. I love to do my own thing which at times my husband finds very frustrating!!! Linda hope you have a great weekend and hoping all works out well for you. Hugs Diane
Wow! You're a great travel agent, Linda. I didn't even have to leave my chair. Really enjoyed the videos and those great quotes, too. Thank you!! Have a peaceful weekend!
I love train your mind to be calm in every situation. It can be very hard sometimes but the quote is a great reminder. Thanks for the post Linda and have a lovely weekend.
Dear Linda I wish and pray that may people around you help you to find new place to live amen.
i am so proud of you that while dealing with such difficult times you are still unshaken and strong to post such joyful videos and beautiful wise words! God will reward you for this good deed for sure dear. LOVED the first video ,i don't think anyone is stranger
So much in your post today, Linda! I'm a big hugger, so I loved the hugging kangaroo! I'm shy, but I do try to talk to strangers, and I have my personal project of smiling a giant smile at all sorts of people. It was fun to spot the Batu Caves in Kuala Lumpur in the talking to strangers video. The video on Costa Rica and Nicaragua brought back many memories from almost 30 years ago ~ These countries have really developed their tourism since Terry and I traveled there. Of all the videos I showed my kiddos over the years, I think they enjoyed watching the mating rituals of birds the most. Their all-time favorite was the Blue-Footed Booby ~ You just can't stop third grade boys from being third grade boys!!! And so much inspiration in your quotes! Every one spoke to me. I have to focus on calmness because I radiate energy, and that can unsettle others around me. Wishing you a productive, but unstressed, weekend my special Montreal friend! Sending you love and hugs!
Praying for all you're facing, dear Linda. I know God will guide you to the best home and give you His peace. My favorite graphic was the one about the sun and the moon!
