Monday Blues Buster
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have chosen for this post are: Dog Doesn't Recognize Owner After Weight Loss....Until He Sniffs :)

11 Signs Your Body Needs More Magnesium
Baby Deer Brings Happiness to Everyone He Meets
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. We have a choice each and every single day: I choose to feel blessed. I choose to feel grateful. I choose to be excited. I choose to be thankful. I choose to be happy.
Today I remind myself that when I remain calm I can easily manage my thoughts, attitude and emotions, things become more clear and logical, so that handling any difficult or tense situation becomes less stressful to me.
How heartwarming is that video of the puppy being reunited with his fur daddy! Animals truly gift us with a quality of life we would never have experienced otherwise. I suppose that could be said about any person, as well, but especially animals since they can not verbally communicate. They are so dependent and utterly devoted.
Thanks for all the great reminders today, Linda. Throughout the time I've had the pleasure of knowing you, you have generously helped me recultivate habits that were once normal for me, accept my "pollyana attitude" which others have belittled, and encouraged me to continue growing when others were trying to push me back down. You, Linda, have helped me, without knowing specifically how - you helped by sending your caringness and love out to strangers on the internet. You have touched heart after heart in a very deep and personal way, without delving into the person's issues. You helped me be aware of the difference of being a door mat, being manipulated, and making a choice to do certain things FREELY. You've helped me so much - and you certainly need to be told, because your purpose in this life is beautiful to many of us - your beauty is an example of Strength of Spirit. Especially when you may not "feel like it". Thank you for being you, Linda. xx
Linda, Back on line after a few days... A corrupted Windows update caused my computer to crash. Still trying to recover my files. At least I'm back on email and the blog site! Love that dog not recognizing his owner! He must have been huge before his weight loss. I'm down 52 lbs. from my high for the last 8 years but I still look like me...just as ballooned up! The video on Israel was interesting but that area of the world is pretty depressing after all of these years... The 3 legged deer story was sweet. It is amazing how animal adapt! Take Care, Big Daddy Dave
"Life is so ironic. It takes sadness to know happiness, noise to appreciate silence and absence to value presence." How true is that, I had never actually thought that one out before! P.S. It seems that the sheep close by to us are a problem for N. The hospital was quite sure about it. We do not want to move but .... Have a great week Diane
The lil deer video made me cry so hard, friend Linda ... I had an orphan calf once ... both front feet were partly frozen off ... my husband did not want to shoot it ... I did not want to shoot it, either, because he had such beautiful eyes ... he lived with us for 2 years until he vanished into the bush ... his name was Bruce ... smiles ... Love, cat.
Wow, Linda! I'm wondering if I have a magnesium deficiency. I'm going to check on it. Thanks! The videos were great, with the little three-legged dear and happy dog ~ heartwarming. The quote that really spoke to me today was, "Don't judge my path if you haven't walked my journey." I try to remind myself of that when I run across people who are rude or unkind to me. You never know what burdens people may be carrying. And I'm way beyond judging others for the paths they travel, because life is difficult and I have surprised myself with my choices a few times. Have a great Tuesday, my friend!
"Spend less time staring into screens and more time staring into eyes." Something everyone should think about - so many are all so engrossed in their smartphones to interact with others.
Dogs will always remember their owner's smell. Wow! just look at how excited the dog upon recognizing its owner! It must have missed the owner terribly. The cute deer is a great video too!
Well that video of the dog surprised me. I always thought that dogs used their noses more than anything. Looks like their clues are visual too. Thanks Linda.
Dear Linda - I just always so enjoy your videos and quotes. The deer is so precious. My husband has been reading about the lack of magnesium...very interesting...love Joyce Meyer...read so many of her wonderful books. Thanks for the wonderful uplifting post friend. May you have a blessed day - Hugs!
Your post is so rich with interesting videos and wise quotations!
The video of Israel shows the little country in its very beginnings when there was much hope and expectation for something good and special to happen. Well, we kind of lost all that.
"Spend less time staring into screens and more time staring into eyes" - what a great advice!! I couldn't have put it better.
Thank you Linda!! I love this quote, We are all angels with only one wing and we can only fly by embracing one another. I hope everything is well! Thank you for e-mailing me! Big Hugs!
