Mid-Week Pick Me Up
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have selected for this post are: Huge Sea Turtle Stuck on Back Rescued by Nice Guy
1950's Sweater Fashions
Glass City of the Future (1959)
She Waited in This Spot for a Month for her Family to Return
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. At the end of the day I am at peace because my intentions are good and my heart is pure.
As one wastes their breath complaining, another breathes their last. Take nothing for granted. Live more, complain less. Have more smiles, less stress.
Love the quotations but this has got to be my favourite: As one wastes their breath complaining, another breathes their last. Take nothing for granted. Live more, complain less. Have more smiles, less stress.
Thanks to the kind guy the turtle can return to the sea safely. My heart goes out to the lost dog but it was wonderful that it now has a loving family that loves and takes good care of the dog.
All beautiful sayings and yes Sometimes letting go is an act of far greater power than defending or holding on. Thanks for sharing. Have a good day, Diane
Hello Linda, the quotes are beautiful and wise. They really are good to read for me for "where" I am in my life right now.. The video with the dog is heartbreaking, good he found a new home in the end. I love the cat paintings in your previous post, I have a cat that I love so much, Welcome to my site too!
I felt really bad for the dog but good people showed up and gave him a nice forever home. A wonderful end to the sad story. My favorite quote is: You never know what someone is going through. Be kind. Always.
Thanks for another wonderful post Linda and have a great day!
Great videos, especially the turtle and dog. Love those happy endings! Wonderful quotes also. Love the reminder, "As one wastes their breath..." Have a lovely, cozy evening, Linda!
Oh my goodness, that poor little dog, but she was rescued and is a happy girl now. She so deserves it! We have five doggies from similar situations like that now, they are a huge Blessing to us!
So glad the turtle was helped! That poor thing.
Those quotes are outstanding. They are so good, I read several outloud to my grown daughters here. Bravo!
I really enjoyed my visit Linda! You take care now, give that Romeo special pets for me. : ) Praying for the housing situation too.
Linda, My wife saves a couple of turtles (not sea turtles though) every year. She has me stop the car and she takes them across the road in the direction that they were headed.
I clearly remember all of those sweater fashions...although the twin sets did make a comeback later. The only thing missing from the video, and maybe they weren't big in the UK, was a poodle skirt! Take Care, Big Daddy Dave
Dear Linda - that sweet dog waiting for her family was so touching. Pulls on my heart strings. Great quotes for mid week too. Those sweaters sure were lovely...wish we still had these to choose from today. Hugs!
I really believe this quote: "You never know what someone is going through. Be kind. Always." Such an important thing to remember. Have a great week, my dear friend!
