Indeed, be grateful for every little blessing and we will be truly happy. Many may have a lot more but they want more and more and as a result of that, they are not happy at all.
Hi Linda, I could do with a swimsuit like that for my next holiday in Australia! I’ve just bought a new one, but I really hate having to wear it – but my grandchildren won’t rest until I go in the sea with them. It was OK when I was a young woman but there are bits of me that are best hidden these days! Thanks for sharing these, I will go back to looking at them now. Hugs Barbara
Hi Linda! Of course I had to look at the swimsuit video. It looked so COLD, and there those ladies were, jumping into the waves. BRRR! I think I'd drown wearing all those clothes, and yet that was seen as 'wanton'! I so agree that my thoughts can carry me past my worries. Such a good reminder that we can participate in our own good mood. Nice to see you again! Ceil
Dear Linda - those bathing suits had me smiling. Love the quote about living with love grace and gratitude! I know I am grateful for your lovely posts. Hope you are having a blessed day. Hugs!
Those swim suits may have even been a sensible - it seems modern swimsuits now are trying to provide sun protection. Not the bikinis that just seem to be getting smaller and smaller, but the swim shirts and shorts protecting from the sun. ;-)
Hi Linda, Just loved the videos today & those wonderful quotes, but my favorite part of your post - the "bat cat!" See you back here in a few days. Hugs!!
Hi Linda! Thanx for all the Raphael paintings - you know how much I like his work! And those posters that stress happiness often results from gratitude are right on. We had a rather scary night but were spared any rally bad damage; we did lose power but got it back late last night. Take care!
Linda, Those 1898 swimsuits seem more modest to me than those other ladies on the beach who raised their dresses or went wading in their bloomers! Times have certainly changed... Love the quack squad. Great idea instead of pesticides! Fun to watch the ducks too! Take Care, Big Daddy Dave
Don't know how you find all these great videos every week. The Water Mat looks amazing and we could do with those ducks here as we have a massive snail problem this summer. Everyone is moaning about them taking over their gardens and eating everything in sight.
Thanks for sharing the Raphael Vavasseur art! There is something so uplifting about those lovely images. I just knew that swimsuit video was taken in the Brighton area! Terry's sister lives there, although she and her husband are returning to the States to live later this month. Have a good one, my friend!
