Mid-Week Shares
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have selected for this post are: World's Worst Sheepdog (I may have posted this in the past, but it makes me laugh so hard I just can't help sharing this!) :) :) :)
Manatees Washed Up by Hurricane Irma Rescued Just in Time
Oliver Jones (Montreal Jazz legend) Performs Tenderly
Why Little Dogs Yap More than Big Dogs
Six Foods That are Turning Your Teeth Yellow
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. The secret of being happy is accepting where we are in life and making the most out of every day.
Always laugh when you can; it is cheap medicine. Merriment is a philosophy not well understood. It's the sunny side of existence. - George Gordon, Lord Byron
Hi there Linda! Oh gosh, cute little Nelson really made me smile too :D) Laughter certainly is cheap medicine. Thanks for this lovely visit and I hope all is well with you. Cheers, Sue xx
I like this sentence: Life is a series of thousands of tiny miracles! Take time to notice them. I like to observe them; there is a lot of them in our life. Have a nice week :)
Lovely post as always and thanks for sharing. 'Life is a series of thousands of tiny miracles! Take time to notice them.' I notice them every day in my garden :-) I hope you are having some luck with accommodation, my very best wishes Diane
Hi Linda, I love the funny sheepdog in the 1st video. Ha ha looks like it is having fun playing with the sheep. Poor sheep taken a spin around the field. Lol!
Linda - great video of the worst sheepdog...made me smile. Lovely piano music and super quotes. Especially enjoyed the one "do all the good you can do and make as little fuss about it as possible." Have a blessed day. Hugs!
Hi Linda, not to worry. I've done that a number of times, especially when I try to publish a comment on my phone or iPad. My fingers are too big, I think, and "Publish" is right next to "Delete." So when I accidentally hit "Delete," I have to go into the "Trash" folder, copy the comment again, go to the person's blog and post it myself. Silly, but it happens. Just enjoy your day and don't worry about stuff like this! OK?
Hi Lowell, and anyone else whom I accidentally deleted your comment, I appreciate your understanding. I know what happened now. See, I use Google Chrome as my browser, and periodically, what happens is that the annoying Microsoft Edge keeps popping up, wanting me to use their browser...I do not wish to use it, but it suddenly appears now and then and there is no way for me to stop it. When I was at the point where I had read and was about to publish several comments, the Microsoft Edge browser appeared, making me click on 'delete' instead of publish.
Thanks for the delightful reminders today, Linda. You know, I think you could repeat many of the videos and quotes, and we all would benefit from the repeats, because no one has total-recall when it comes to common sense and encouragement! We all need both those things! And sometimes, it's a beautifully genuine person who gives them to us. (that would be you, in case you didn't know). (giggling). I am slowly recovering, and feeling grateful for every day! xx
Oh? I must have missed this one as mid-week, I had to get my girl from her school in the jungle and bring her back to town - she has something on here over these past few days.
I love this one: "The secret of being happy is accepting where we are in life and making the most out of every day." Be happy with every little thing that God has blessed us with, even the things we take for granted...like waking up in the morning, for instance.
Please do not be shy! I appreciate your kind comments, they are sweet treasures and really make my day! Spammers, do not waste your time, I delete your comments and they do not even show on my blog. Comment moderation is enabled. I do hope that Blogger's changes in the way of proving that you are not a robot do not deter you from commenting! Thank you so much! If you have Google+ and are only allowing Google+ users to comment on your blog, I do not have, nor do I want it. And if you use DISQUS for accepting comments on your blog I don't have that, either, nor do I want it. Thanks!
