Don't mix bad words with your bad mood. You will have opportunities to change a mood, but you will never get the opportunity to replace the words you spoke.
Humans are capable of the most horrendous acts, but also of the most beautiful acts. All we can do I suppose is keep highlighting the good and try to inspire others with acts of kindness.
Morning Linda, I’m so pleased to see the bear in a better place. I hope the people who had her were punished, but I don’t suppose they were! There are some really good people in the world, like the divers who shaved the sharks and then there are the other kind who have no business being alive. I’m sorry that makes me sound so grumpy but I just cannot stand cruelty in any form. Have a lovely week.
Dear Linda, Thank you so much for wandering over and leaving such a sweet note for my doll. Your post this evening was so enjoyable. I always, always love the quotes. blessings, Penny
Thanks most sincerely for sharing another so wonderful post of yours, darling Linda, I've been missing you so, so much during my break! Wishing you a most lovely Monday and new week ahead, with sincere gratitude
One cannot stay indifferent at the sight of the girl without arms and how she's using her toes instead. Her perseverence in doing everything: driving, playing the piano, etc..is indeed amazing.
I like the quote about the boiling water - that's so true!
"You cannot calm the storm...". Right. We can do nothing about climate; we're helpless when facing Nature's fury. We can do, however, things about ourselves .
Hello, Linda! Love this inspiring post. It is neat to see that the divers would help out the sharks. They are brave. Great quotes. Happy October to you! Happy Monday, enjoy your day and week ahead.
Amazing video of the young girl without arms...what an inspiration she is to all of us. Love the quote "you cannot calm the storm...do not waste your time calm yourself the storm will pass." Great words to live by. Have a delightful week friend. Hugs!
That 2nd video was awesome. I remember some years back my mother wrote about a women in one of the Dakotas who had no arms or legs but had become a painter of some renown. Some people have a lot more inner strength than I do. I always love those "Meanwhile in Canda" posters.
Lots of delightful videos and happy for the Bear ~ loving sayings with great advice ~ thanks, ^_^ Have you the read the book Highly Sensitive Person???
Three inspirational videos I enjoyed. (Can't see the point of constantly updating mobile phones unless your work calls for it. I prefer proper large computer screens to watch anything interesting. Never understood how people can spend their life glued to a tiny hand-sized screen for free time entertainment.)
Feeling much sadness for America, feeling much sadness for Tom Petty, friend Linda ... feeling much happiness about your blog post ... Thank you ... Love, cat.
Linda, The bear rescue story is heartwarming...but it boggles my mind that the bear was being used to train dogs to hunt bears! The whale shark rescue was nice too. The woman without arms...heck, I have enough trouble typing on my computer keyboard with 2 hands...much less with my toes! As for the Google Pixel smart phone...heck, I don't even have a cellphone...much less a smart one. Loved the image of the deer in the shade under some kids trampoline! Take Care, Big Daddy Dave

Yes, my neighbour in my younger days reared a lot of them - geese. Very fierce birds...would chase and attack...kids like me. LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteThe goose one is so funny. Ask any Canadian if it’s true! Mean and ornery fowl. Foul fowl! 😂
