In my post yesterday, one of the things I had shared was about cats...it said that male cats are typically left-pawed and that female cats are typically right-pawed. I had to laugh, because I have a two year old, black and white male cat named 'Romeo', and he mostly uses his left paw. Sometimes when I tell him the word 'no' when he does something I don't want him to do, he protests by lifting up his left paw...to 'slap' me, and I slap him back on the paw with my hand. LOL! It looks more like we are doing a "high 5" than anything else. :)
The videos I have selected for this post are:

No matter how good or bad you think you have it, wake up every morning and be grateful for your life...because someone somewhere is fighting for theirs.
I too have watched cats. They often use their left paw to do anything. First weapon for them to get protected is their paws...
ReplyDeleteyour blog is really giving me some good vibes Linda...
ReplyDeletethanks for sharing and Have a great day always
that's an adorable story about you and romeo ... i like the imagery of a human and a cat giving each other high fives! :)
ReplyDeleteI love the southern towns and cities in the UK - I was in Plymouth. Did not manage to get to visit Salisbury or Stonehenge when I was there for 3 months though. Would love to go back again.
ReplyDeleteThe swans are having a great time there.
ReplyDeleteTheo ... my lil "cat man do" ... is using his LT paw to touch my face, when he wants attention ... your post is precious, Linda as are all of your posts ... thank u. Love, cat.

ReplyDeleteGood morning love!!! Lovely collection of wonderful quotes hehe
ReplyDeleteCaterpillars and butterflies, they can be found in every home, workplace, anywhere in the world. Guess I am more the caterpillar,, and in your posts, the words emerge from the cocoon, to become a butterfly on your blog.

Maybe Romeo is really a Juliet? ;)
ReplyDeleteGood morning, dear Linda! I enjoyed the tour of the cathedral city of Salisbury, England, only a "stone's throw" from the prehistoric Stonehenge monument. The other day Mrs. Shady and I watched a documentary about Monarch butterflies and today's video reminded me of it. I never saw anything like those surfing swans! They really seemed to enjoy riding the waves and didn't mind people standing so near.
ReplyDeleteThank you, dear friend Linda!
Bonjour Linda,
ReplyDeleteSalisbury fait vraiment rêvé...C'est si beau!!

Salisbury is gorgeous. And the bowling ball prank is too funny. Who expects a bowling ball to go flying off in the air?
ReplyDeletewhat a beautiful post this am...phyllis
ReplyDeleteI checked. My black and white moves off with his left paw, so now it's official!
ReplyDeleteI had a chance to visit the lovely town of Salisbury some years back en route to the Stonehenge. I had such a great time, Linda. Gosh! Makes me wanna go back again........
ReplyDelete" Each morning when I open my eyes I say to myself: I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. I have just one day today and I am going to be happy in it. " - Groucho Marx ( Cruisin Paul ) I totally agree.
ReplyDeleteHave a beautiful positive Tuesday Linda. See ya.

I visited Cotswolds last December, stopping at few places, Bourton on water, Stratford upon Avon, Oxford and Stonehenge. I shall include Salisbury on my next visit.
ReplyDeleteWonderful videos and quotes. Have a blessed day. Madeline
ReplyDeleteNow I want to visit Salisbury! Loved that background music, too.
ReplyDeleteIn the black swan video, I kept thinking that the child on shore must have been so excited to see the swans riding the waves and landing right in front of him. How cute is that?
The balloon prank was funny!
ReplyDeleteHola Linda, como siempre precioso, las mariposas y los cisnes me encantan. Un abrazo grande y se feliz.
ReplyDeleteLoved hearing about Romeo, and enjoyed the cat art. As usual, everything was wonderful, especially the surfing swans. Great selection of quotes, too. Thank you, Linda!
ReplyDeleteSalisbury is one of those places I'd love to see for myself.
ReplyDeleteI always love the pranks and I loved watching the swans surfing. That was very cool.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day my friend. ☺
I really liked the little video, First Wings. Whenever I try to take a picture of the butterfly, it flies away too quickly. It's so graceful, and it brings me peace when I see it. I liked the Black Swans also because my husband and sons are both surfers.
ReplyDeleteBe Kind, It really is that Simple.....what a beautiful quote. Thank you for all the inspiration on here today, Linda.

Bonjour Linda, les chats comprennent bien plus que l'on pense mais ils sont tellement indépendants et tellement beaux, je les adore!!! Bise et bonne journée tout en douceur!

Cute image - high five with the cat.
ReplyDeletethe surfing swans are beautiful, linda! :-))
ReplyDeleteThat is an interesting finding about cats!
ReplyDeleteHmmmmm...I will have to check on my cats. I have one male and one female, and have niver noticed which paws they favor. I like the quotes and art that you shared. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm doing my part to control the cookie population! That's interesting about your left-pawed cat. I love the mental image you painted of the high-five with him.
ReplyDeleteSo funny, I have never even thought about animals being left pawed or right pawed! That is so interesting to me!
ReplyDeletehmm....interesting tips on that. I didn't observe my cat when he was around.
ReplyDeleteI got a kick out of those swans!
ReplyDeleteWe have plenty of cats. I think I'll observe them in the coming days. Thank you for your info. God bless!
ReplyDeleteAgreed. It really is that simple.
ReplyDeletethey should have made the balloons pop
ReplyDeleteI had never before given it much thought, but when I stop scratching behind Mama Kitty's (a.k.a. Miss Callie) ears before she is ready for me to, she will reach out to me with her left front paw.
ReplyDeleteI guess my daughter's cat is ambidextrous as she uses both front paws at once to strike at the offending dogs who dare enter her space!
