I thought I would take a bit of time to share more about my blog with you all! My hope is that whoever visits and reads my blog will feel inspired, uplifted, encouraged...or perhaps something will make you smile, laugh or just see the bright side of life. There is so much negativity in life that I am hoping to counteract it by offering positive, encouraging and humorous things that enable us all to see the positive and good things that life has to offer. I post some recipes and health related items because for myself, I think that both mental and physical health work hand in hand. For example, if we eat junk food every day and all the time it can affect not only our physical health but our mental health as well. At the same time, I feel that how we feel about ourselves or life in general can affect our physical health. Thank you so much for being here and thanks so much for your kind comments, it means so much to me.
The videos I have selected for this post are:

How to be positive - Say "I can" instead of "I can't". Smile more. Be optimistic. Remember you are in charge. Be thankful. Forget about regrets. Do nice things for others.
Very nice blog, and agree fully with the sentiments of: "Smile more. Be optimistic." If everyone could do those two simple things, we'd live in an even greater world. Cheers to a good week.
ReplyDeletePanic... !?, but nice gag, Linda !
ReplyDeleteOrganizing helps so much !
i too agree that we need more sources of positivity, hope and optimism in our lives ... thank you for bringing that to us! :)

ReplyDeleteici il fait moins chaud , quelques grelons hier , mais pas de dégats ici ...
a demain et porte toi bien
I woke up Sunday afternoon without the strength to walk without holding onto something to keep from falling, and it really messed with my head. Thankfully, I was able to get across a room in a few hours of time, but getting the trash can out to the curb for the Monday morning pick-up will have to wait until next week (hopefully)..
ReplyDeleteSassy pants...that's true to just move on...
ReplyDeleteI get a kick out of watching the faces involved in the gag - like they can't believe what happened or that they did such a dumb thing. I wonder if the birds fly back down into the cage? :) And the doggie retirement home is wonderful. At first I thought it was a joke. But those little critters need help and this place gives it to them!
ReplyDeleteThanks for reminding to be Grateful, spending time with loved ones. And also about dwelling on the positive instead of the negative. Happy Monday, Linda.
ReplyDeleteBonjour Linda,
ReplyDeleteJ'adore ces dames aux grands cœurs qui aide les petits chiens, c'est très touchant ♥♥

ReplyDelete"Sometimes you just gotta put on your sassy pants and move on!" ... Love that ... been there, done that too ... so good to have you in my life ... thank you, L ... smiles ... Always, cat.
ReplyDeleteGood morning, dear Linda! I am very happy to know someone like you. Your blog is a beacon of light in the darkness. It inspires, helps and heals. Why do so many people use their sites as a platform for angry rants? The world needs more people like you!
ReplyDeleteAs you might expect, the video that touched me most deeply was the one that took us inside the dog retirement home. It brought tears to my eyes to see and hear how those women, along with volunteers, are spending so much time and money to give food, shelter, medical care and love to dogs at the end of their lives. The "Stairway To Heaven" is awesome, a constant reminder of dogs that have passed away, dogs that were loved till their last breath and will always be remembered.
Thank you very much, dear friend Linda!
nice gandhi quote
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful thoughts that you have shared. Life is indeed filled with so much hate and negativity that at times becomes overwhelming. Its nice to know that you are doing your own little effort to bring positivity through your blog. Have a nice week and best wishes!
ReplyDeleteLinda, I just enjoyed the " Inside a Dog Retirement Home ". It's amazing how much love these people have. Thank God there are people like them. What I really loved was the " Be grateful for every second of every day that you get to spend with the people you love. Life is so very precious ". I totally agree with you. Thank you Linda. Have a wonderful Monday my friend. See ya.

ReplyDeletelovely blog- I just looked at a book in our library about a man who wrote a thank you note each day for a year- rather than feel sorry for himself- he found a way to thank all sorts of people in his life and it changed his life- turned it around
