Cheerful Tuesday and a New Poll!
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! I have added a new poll, which you will find on the top right hand column of my blog. I am asking you all what your favourite meat is. You can choose more than one, if you have a few favourites! I also gave the option to choose that you do not eat meat for those of you who are vegetarian. :) Thank you so much for taking the time to vote in my polls! The videos I have chosen for this post are: A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire
Punky Punkin - Fran Allison - 1952 Vintage Halloween Song
Migratory Birds
Emotional Baggage - Loretta Laroche
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. We could all take a lesson from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism.
To transform your life: 1. Pay attention to your sensations. 2. Be grateful. 3. Breathe consciously. 4. Open your heart to someone. 5. Expect abundance.
We do need to listen to criticism though - they may have a point and we need to evaluate it all objectively...and change for the better if we need to do so.
Superbes posts comme toujours. On ne s'ennuie pas chez toi. C'est "top" Félicitations pour tout car je sais que faire un joli et surtout bon blog prend du temps. Belle journée à toi. Bises Linda
saw the new poll. mine will be pork especially roast pork , beef and last chicken. Not that fond of fish though people say those who eats a lot of fish have better brain power
I like "Love is where the heart is " the best.As a Japanese, I hope it would inspire people who have given up living in their home town due to radioactive contamination since the collapse of power plants in Fukushima.
I voted in your latest poll. If it was up to me I wouldn't eat any meat at all, but my doctor suggests that I do. That dumpster prank was nicely executed and really fooled people. I was only two years old when that children's Halloween record "Punky Punkin" was released and I don't remember it. I loved watching the migratory birds. Isn't it amazing how the word spread about that inviting location and the number of visiting birds swelled from only a few to many thousands? The piece about carrying emotional baggage around for years was a great one. We must all learn to forgive and let go.
thanks for visiting my blog! so glad you liked it. Love all your quotes...wow!! voted on your poll but didn't see bison on there...I no longer eat beef (am trying to give up meat and just eat chicken, salmon and tilapia or bison 2x a week). We have local bison which is so much better for you than beef....much less fat and they are only grass fed so no antibiotics or hormones go into them!! Have a great day!!
Linda, love all your meaningful quotes of guidance, inspiration, and truth. I especially like the one about how life is more about bouncing back from troubles! Thanks for sharing and hope it is sunny and bright in your beautiful Montreal!
Industrialised farming farming has done horrific things to our natural cycles. Hopefully people will start to see the wisdom of diversity in planting sooner rather than later.
How could you not laugh at that homeless girl gag? The Native Americans called corn, beans, and squash "the three sisters." There is a lot we could learn from them, dear Linda! Have a good one!
Please do not be shy! I appreciate your kind comments, they are sweet treasures and really make my day! Spammers, do not waste your time, I delete your comments and they do not even show on my blog. Comment moderation is enabled. I do hope that Blogger's changes in the way of proving that you are not a robot do not deter you from commenting! Thank you so much! How inspiring, Linda!
