Thursday's Post
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have selected for this post are: A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire
Giant Panda puts Baby Back to Bed
Seniors Show us how to Live a Full Life
Incorporating Humor into the Workplace - Karyn Buxman, Motivational Speaker
Mr. Bean - Horror Movie
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. Stress can destroy much more than just our physical health. To often, it eats away at our hope, belief and faith. - Charles F. Glassman
Look in the mirror, into your own eyes and say: "I really, really love and accept you just the way you are." Saying that to yourself gets to that little child in you that has been rejected for so long and it removes the blocks that prevent good to flow into your life.
People make time for who they want to make time for. People text, call and reply to those they want to talk to. Never believe anyone who says they're too busy. Never force anyone to make time for you. Remember: it's not about having time, it's about making time.
Stop living in 'The Land of Why!' There are no happy answer to: "Why me?" "Why didn't I?" "Why did I?" If you must ask any questions, ponder: "How can I grow?" "What's in my control to change?" "What's a gain in my pain?"
You have this one life. How do you want to spend it? Apologizing? Regretting? Questioning? Hating yourself? Running after people who don't see you? Be brave. Believe in yourself. Do what feels good. Take risks. You have this one life. Make yourself proud.
Oh how brilliant this collection is, Linda...as always! I especially liked "Seniors Show us how to live a Full Life"...being one myself, I often forget how to have fun! *smiles* And "White Ribbons of Peace" really touched me...it is all too easy to get wrapped up in our own needs and forget those of others. I become truly uplifted every time I visit here...oh you are such a treasure, Linda...:)) xoxoxo
Those gaggers could make a bench sitter feel important! Re your comment on The Villages: Being a 55+ community, you have to have at least one person over 55 in each house. However, to satisfy those worried about diversity and exclusion, 20% of the homes must be open to have one resident under the age of 55. No one under 19 can live there, however.
Ha,ha,ha. I can't stop laughing about the art piece about Saskatchewan. Good morning Linda. The " Make yourself proud " piece was wonderful and I believe in it. Have a gorgeous day my friend. See ya.
Thank you very much Linda. For your visit, lovely videos and those images that talk for them self’s, the spicy one is very interesting, I will try for the inflammation of the joints. Very truthful words and beautiful images. Have a very good day. Ambar
Thank you, Linda, for these wonderfully inspirational thoughts and quotations! The pandas are very cute, but I can't help wondering why they are kept in that kind of environment. Have a lovely October!
Like the first film very much! We used to live in Japan, in a remote area in the 70's and it was exactly like on this little film! Also the Saskatchewan is very good! Aggie
Linda, I think this is your best post yet! Well, aside from those that tell more about you. So many of these quotes really hit home, one after another. Loved the gag, panda, and Mr. Bean clips. Kids and mothers are the same everywhere, aren't they? I wasn't familiar with Mr. Bean, but he and I react the same way at horror shows! LOL That's why I won't go to them! Have a wonderful day!
Good afternoon, dear Linda! How true it is that many people squirm in discomfort when they become the center of attention, such as those in the gag video getting their picture taken by a large group of tourists. The baby panda looked like it was wearing a diaper. :) It was remarkable to see the mother gently pushing, dragging and carrying the young one back to bed. Humor is a very important part of my life and I appreciate friends who possess a good sense of humor. Life is too short to stay serious all the time.
Happy Thursday and happy October, dear friend Linda!
