Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have selected for this post are: A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire
Montreal City Guide - Lonely Planet Travel Video
White Dorper Sheep - Farm Raised with P. Allen Smith
A Tour of the West Bank/Palestine Visiting Bethlehem, Jericho and Jordan River with Abraham Tours
Do it Yourself Christmas Gift Idea: Peppermint Sugar Scrub
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. Don't let past ghosts spook away present gifts.
Depression is such a cruel punishment. There are no fevers. No rashes. No blood tests to send people scurrying in concern. Just the slow erosion of self. As insidious as cancer. It is essentially a solitary experience. A room in hell with only your name on the door. - Martha Manning
Weird life truth...often the greatest happiness in life comes from going through a life challenge and growing into a stronger person. There's truly nothing more fulfilling than discovering yourself to be a stronger person than you ever dreamed yourself capable of being.
Gossips are worse than thieves because they steal another person's dignity, honest reputation and credibility - which are challenging to restore. Remember: when your feet slip, you can always recover your balance. But when your tongue slips, you cannot recover your words.
It was fun to watch the reactions of diners when the clumsy waiter dumped lobster in their laps. I enjoyed the tour of Montreal, a delightful and culturally diverse city. Mrs. Shady and I would love to visit Montreal and browse around that huge open air market, sample the exotic foods, ride bikes, linger at the lake and watch the river surfers. I love sheep and goats and enjoyed learning about this hot weather breed from Africa. I would love to sit there and pet them whilst they gobbled seed from that bucket. I never heard of peppermint sugar body scrub. It seems like it would be sticky but the mixture apparently exfoliates, washes off and leaves only a sweet scent behind.
Thank you very much, dear Linda! I am off now for the Thanksgiving holiday and will be immersed in family through the weekend. I will come to see you again on Monday. Till then, take care and God bless!
Good one about wifi connection in the forest. Yes, now we depended on Wifi a lot to stay connected. It's good to go hiking sometimes to stay connected with nature
Ohhh I adore this one...so funny!!! Pink: people who eat consistently healthy. Green: people who wish this was a real pie. Have a lovely week Linda ;-))
Love the travel video! I've recently watched a series of documentary called, "Holiday Gone Wrong" which I found them to be very informative & definitely learn a lot from there. You can try google for "Toggle" & search for the videos if you're keen :)
Good morning Linda. The laughs were great especially the lobster one. You know the statement that I liked the most was " Don't wait for the perfect moment. Take the moment and make it perfect." means a great deal. As I get older, I seem to comprehend a great deal more. Do you feel the same way? Enjoy your Wednesday my friend. See ya.
Totally agree.. take the moment and make it perfect! Too often we spend too long waiting for happiness to arrive.. when happiness is already within our reach! LOL Great post as always babe!
Please do not be shy! I appreciate your kind comments, they are sweet treasures and really make my day! Spammers, do not waste your time, I delete your comments and they do not even show on my blog. Comment moderation is enabled. I do hope that Blogger's changes in the way of proving that you are not a robot do not deter you from commenting! Thank you so much! If you have Google+ and are only allowing Google+ users to comment on your blog, I do not have, nor do I want it. And if you use DISQUS for accepting comments on your blog I don't have that, either, nor do I want it. Thanks!
Instead, free wifi = a breakdown in communication... How ironic!
