White Winter Wednesday
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have selected for this post are: Rescue Cat So Happy to be Adopted he Can't Stop Hugging His Human
Korean Restaurant Cooks Meals for Those in Need
Frostie the Snow Goat
18 Quart Nesco Roaster Oven
1950's Beauty Guide - Skincare
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. Accept what is, let go of what was and have faith in what will be.
Just in case you need to hear this today...you are not a failure. You are not a waste of space. You are not any of those negative thoughts you hear in your head or from other people. You are loved. You are wanted. I believe in you. You can do it.
Isn't it amazing how much love and affection animals shower on people, Linda? I loved the videos about Honeycake and Frosty the Snow Goat. I was fascinated with the determination of little Frosty to walk with his wheels ~ such a tiny, young life, but one with so much spirit. I am convinced that we underestimate how much animals feel and think. It makes me crazy to think of humans treating animals cruelly. Thank you for sharing these inspiring videos! Have a lovely day tomorrow, dear Linda!
Wow this is just awesome Linda, I watched the video's my heart always melts seeing the animals, the quotes are brilliant, once again thank you so much for sharing hugs lorraine x
Beautiful videos Linda, I too loved watching the cat hugging his human. The retro video made good sense today as back then! Lovely quotations, the one that stood out for me was that we never talk more than to ourselves in our heads, so be kind to ourselves. So very true. Have a happy week and will see you soon :D)
Linda, I have enjoyed this post this morning. I love the skin care from the 50's. And did I ever love "You don't have to attend every argument that you are invited too". I might just need to share this one on FB! LOL! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
Oh how beautiful...especially the caterpillar one and the Ups Downs and Roundabouts one...yes, I desperately needed to read the latter today. Thank you so much, dear Friend!:)
Thank you for such an uplifting and heartwarming post with all of the videos and quotes! I have a heart for cats and have taken in so many that have been dropped on me out here in the country........so I loved the cat hugging the person!
Hello Linda!:)I hope you are well and wish you all the very best for 2017. Lovely animal video clips today, and I was surprised to discover that the lovely lady with the voice of a nightingale, Susan Boyle, has Asperger syndrome. I hope she receives all the support she needs. Nice to see the helping hands of the kind owners of Korean Restaurant making a difference to the homeless, and all the inspiring quotes. I'm not blogging in full swing just yet, just visiting my blog friends who took the time to make a friendly greeting at Christmas, but I should be up and running soon. Take care, and all the best.x
The animal videos were so precious - always my favorites! And by the grace of God, we are not homeless. Bless Mr. & Mrs. Park for their service to others, their generosity. Beautiful quotes, as usual. Perfect way to start my day. Thank you, Linda!
Hi Linda. You did another great post. I love Frosty the Goat and I sent the video on to our daughter in south Florida who raises goats. She's even had baby goats living in her house! BTW, I tried all those 1950 beauty guides back in 1950. They don't work and that's why I look the way I do today! :))
Hi Linda! I love your encouraging words today, thank you for your faith in me. I also appreciated the Monet saying. And the one about not having to attend every argument I'm invited to. Wise words! Ceil
Hi Linda, very nice to first see the beautiful pictures and then a piece of the Clio Rescue Cat :-) And ohhhhh ....... Frostie the Snow Goat. Great that he can come forward again by the trolley itself :-)))))) Special furnaces lol ... maybe try. Too easy to get clean. The many beautiful text spells are again chosen with care. Warm regards, Helma
Wish I could watch your videos they look fabulous today. Two things to remember in life: Take care of your thoughts when you are alone, and take care of your words when you are with people. I often open my mouth and think after when it is too late. Never done with a purpose but sometime not the right words come out. Maybe also a sign of getting old!!!! Have a good day Diaane
That 1950s beauty guide reminds me of a list I saw yesterday for the requirements of a student in kindergarten from 1954. It made so much sense - simple life skills along with academics. Today life has become so complicated for children, I appreciated seeing the list and remembering what actually matters.
I was really touched by the cat in the first story. She is so like Mittens, my adopted stray cat who is such a cuddly wee soul. Thank you for the quotes. Hopefully 2017 *will* bring good things to us all. Xx
Happy Wednesday Linda... I hope you are doing well xox
I think we all should take a lesson from this quote, it is very true: You will never speak to anyone more than you speak to yourself in your head; be kind to yourself. xox
Linda, It's great that those Korean restaurateurs give back so freely. There is a lot of that around here. Among many others feeding the poor and homeless, we have the "Love Kitchen".
That cat is precious! He's not letting go. When we brought home our rescue cat, he spent about an hour exploring the house and then he grabbed a lap and declared that this is the place!
Given the politics and divisiveness here in the USA, to paraphrase, the best we can do is 'hope' that good things are on the way! Take Care, Big Daddy Dave
Hi Linda...I meant to tell you that we have a Korean Baptist Church here in Ocala! Who would think there are enough Koreans here in central Florida to actually have a church? I drive by it all the time and would like to go in but don't want to seem intrusive.
Dear Linda, thank you so much for visiting my blog and leaving such a sweet comment, that I really appreciate. Many greatings from Cologne/Germany, Martina
Two things to remember in life: Take care of your thoughts when you are alone, and take care of your words when you are with people. <-- Thank you for sharing this wonderful reminder.
Wonderful quotes today. Thank you, Linda. I really like the ones about not attending every argument you're invited to, about your story inspiring others, and about it being more necessary to love than to understand. Love and kindness are beautiful things.
Oh my, these are wonderful videos. Frosty...Oh Frosty! I love that little goat! The skin-care video is great, I like the way they stress that it doesn't have to be expensive not to mention that it is retro. I love those... The rescue kitty is adorable, so glad he found a home. So precious.
All of your quotes are fantastic. I always enjoy them greatly!
I hope you are having a great day Linda! You always pick such good stuff! : )

Anger is a bodyguard for safness. I have found his to be true. We'd rather be angry than recognize our sadness? Sounds right!
ReplyDeleteHello, Linda! I like Frosty the goat, so cute. I try not get into arguments, it seems to be a waste of time. Happy Wednesday, enjoy your day!
